2019: Development of the voice assistant
On April 25, 2019 it became known that the Center of Speech Technologies (CST) was engaged in development of the voice assistant to Barbarian with support of biometrics. It is supposed that the third-party companies will be able to release devices on a basis Barbarians and to build in it the services, Kommersant writes.
That CST develops the platform for creation of voice assistants under the working name of Barbarian, two interlocutors of the edition close to the company told. They do not call the amount of investments and date of start. CST refused official comments.
CST wants to develop B2B-products for creation of voice assistants and is going to monetize Varvara on license model, interlocutors specify: it can be built in any device or the application and also to connect from a cloud. It is supposed that in Barbarian biometric technologies will be built-in.
It is planned that the third-party companies will release devices with built-in Varvara under the brand. According to sources of Kommersant, CST conducts negotiations with several large companies.[1]
