Demonstration
Cognitive Technologies, the developer of the systems of artificial intelligence for pilotless vehicles, demonstrated in August, 2019 results of the first domestic project on implementation of pilotless agricultural machinery to the agrarian sector.
The action took place in the territory of APO Mezheninovsky in 35 km. from Tomsk. In it the permanent representative of the President of Russia Sergey Menyaylo and the governor of the Tomsk region Sergey Zhvachkin took part in Siberian Federal District.
"Russia, actually the first country in the world where the first really working at cleaning grain, industrial pilotless combine is shown", – the president of Cognitive Technologies Olga Uskova told. |
For the first time the solution of such class is applied in the conditions of difficult melkokonturny fields with a variable relief which are characteristic of Siberian and other regions of Russia and many countries of the world.
"The president set the task to create comfortable conditions for life and work of people. And new pilotless technologies in agriculture will allow to achieve at minimum loads the maximum effect in harvesting. Now I saw an instrument of labor for the person, but not the person for an instrument of labor", – the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Siberian Federal District Sergey Menyaylo told.
The Tomsk region one of the first in Russia started real use of domestic technologies of off-line control by agricultural machinery.
"The Tomsk region – one of innovation developed regions of Russia, and it not just words. Such projects as implementation of pilotless technologies in real production, show that our developments do not become dusty on the shelf, and work for economy", – the governor of the Tomsk region Sergey Zhvachkin noted. |
Basis of the solution Cognitive Technologies for control of autonomous agricultural machinery is the konvolyutsionny neural network of deep learning modified under agrotechnical tasks.
Its competitive advantage and distinctive opportunity is the opportunity for work in any weather conditions and at any illumination. Besides, unlike the international analogs which, as a rule, use the whole set of sensors in the models: laser scanners for the movement along an edge of a field, a stereocamera for work on a roll, etc., a system, on assurance of representatives of Cognitive Technologies, allows to achieve with one video camera similar results, as foreign brands. It allows to reduce the cost of the solution by three-four times in comparison with foreign competitors. At the same time as a basis of company management computer vision is used and the GPS navigation complex is not applied that in particular, allows to detect the technicians arising on the way the unexpected arising obstacles, including people or animals and also metal objects and stones and also to work at territories with a poor satellite signal.
"Today we took the first step in tomorrow of agro-industrial complex. Testing of UAVs in a sowing campaign, processing of the earth will become the next stages of a pilot project. New technologies will be on service of a full stroke of field works", – the Tomsk governor Sergey Zhvachkin noted. |
Cleaning of spring-sown field took place in the field the area of 120 hectares in actual practice of a harvesting. Works were performed on the Acros 585 Rostselmash combine.
Agreement signature
On May 13, 2019 the Cognitive Technologies company, the developer of the systems of artificial intelligence for pilotless vehicles, announced agreement signature about implementation of the systems of pilotless driving of agricultural machinery with a number of the leading agrofarms of the Tomsk region. Among them Agro LLC, JSC Tomsk Agroholding, Sibirskoye moloko LLC, APO Mezheninovsky and others.
In the course of joint work we created 'road map' of projects by the purpose of which transition of the agricultural enterprises to modern technology way, performance improvement of work and minimization of production losses was. At the first stages of works the Cognitive Technologies company is going to install intelligent systems of the help to drivers of an agrotechnology for agricultural machinery. In 2019 they suppose to equip combines in the advanced farms that will allow machine operators to transfer control of the equipment to automatic equipment and to focus on the modes and processes of high-quality processing of grain.
Result of implementation of intelligent systems of management the Cognitive Technologies company sees transition in several years on completely autonomous vehicles and also application of other solutions in the field of smart agriculture.
The Tomsk region one of the first in Russia started real use of domestic technologies of off-line control by agricultural machinery which on the characteristics are highly competitive in the world market. Their basis is the konvolyutsionny neural network of deep learning modified under agrotechnical tasks. In the presence of one video camera and the developed system of machine vision our systems exceed results of the known foreign brands and at the same time have much lower price parameters. The systems of off-line control by agricultural machinery of Cognitive Technologies company ensure safe functioning in any weather conditions.
They function as the person, relying on mechanisms of computer vision and intelligent software solutions. GPS navigation is not used as a basis of management that in particular, allows to detect the technicians arising on the way the unexpected arising obstacles, including people or animals and also metal objects and stones, explained in the company.
Besides, specialists of Cognitive Technologies actively find possibilities of application of the systems of computer vision in problems of smart agriculture in the territory of the Tomsk region. These solutions are tested in problems of control of a status of the cattle, quality control of harvesting, monitoring of crops, assessment of viability of agricultural cultures, control of emergence and removal of weeds, etc.
As other directions of cooperation of the party note carrying out research and development in the field of technologies of pilotless agricultural machinery, to creation of test platforms and polygons for development of the systems of pilotless agricultural machinery in the territory of the Tomsk region and also holding the training seminars for specialists of the pilot agricultural enterprises.
