Thanks to measures of state support of IT are available not only to the large organizations, but also small rural business. The regional program "Creation of 100 Robotic Farms in the Kaluga Region" became one of examples. The robotic equipment increases competitiveness of small business in comparison with large-scale enterprises and also helps to increase to production volume up to 15% in comparison with traditional technologies (with other things being equal). Besides, the robotic equipment solves a problem of staff deficit and allows the farmer to manage successfully business even remotely. For this reason robots gain popularity among small and medium business which quickly reacts to advantages of the innovative solutions.
At the end of 2018, about 12.5% of milk of the total regional amount are received on 36 "smart farms" which use 128 robotic installations. Robotic technologies apply also large enterprises, for example, Kaluga Niva LLC uses a robotic dairy complex on 1800 heads. On a livestock complex 32 robotic Mlone GEA Farm Technologies installations are put into operation.

The effective enterprises which use applied IT, for example, telematics receive fast, and, above all, measurable effect – reducing costs of fuel, maintenance, control work of personnel better. In general, economy reaches 20%, as a result, small and medium business can reinvest the saved means in increase in productivity, purchase of more modern equipment. Secondly, agrobusiness which operates with measurable indicators becomes more transparent and attractive to investors and also receives subsidies from the regional Ministry of Agriculture for development of the enterprise. All command of Omnikomm Systems is from the Kaluga region therefore it is completely submerged in the regional agrarian agenda and tasks of agricultural producers.
