The Murom museum will digitize rare historical and art values using ELAR Planskan

On June 5, 2019 ELAR company announced delivery planetary scaneraelar Planskan A2V-400 in the Murom historical art museum for work with fund of values.

For digitization of museum funds in organization the Planskan ELAR domestic highly productive scanner was delivered and the special Scan office is equipped.

In museum collections rare books in the different directions of knowledge are submitted: history of Russia, geography, art, literature. In addition to books, we store such material types as cards, plans, printing and hand-written documents, posters and photos, we want to make all this available to widely circle of users using creation of the electronic directory. ELAR corporation is known in the Russian market of digitization thanks to the impeccable reputation, we always monitor an exit of latest models of the equipment and also we study responses of partners. Therefore as soon as our museum had an opportunity, we addressed to ELAR at once for purchase of the scanner which combines modern functionality, an opportunity to work carefully with old and old editions, and also optimal cost,

In addition to art collections, the archeology collection, considerable on volume (more than 30 thousand units) is stored in the museum. In it materials of the excavation which is carried out in Murom since the end of XIX prior to the beginning of the 21st centuries are provided. The staff of the museum is going to use ELAR Planskan for digitization of some plane monuments of archeology and also numismatics and objects of applied art.
