2019: Announcement of software of Sendys Explorer

On July 5, 2019 the company OKI Europe announced release of the universal software of SENDYS Explorer which gives the chance to users from any industries and the organizations of any size to use more opportunities printers and MFP OKI. The commercial organizations, medical organizations and retail- business can digitize documents and manage them and also far off control printing tasks — all this at higher level of protection and the reduced number of waste, claim in OKI Europe.

As noted in OKI Europe, the solution SENDYS Explorer is compatible to office OKI printers and will help the organizations to take under control the park of devices for printing and management of documents. SENDYS Explorer and the SENDYS Fleet Manager tool are available to clients of OKI free of charge while they means of optical character recognition of SENDYS Explorer Premium OCR and SENDYS Explorer Output Manager along with Flex Connector and Flex Connector Plus add-on modules are provided for the mezzanine board, emphasized in OKI Europe.

According to the developer, SENDYS Explorer Fleet Manager is available to clients free of charge. The tool allows to browse far off a status of each printer and MFP in real time and also to manage far off updates of microprogram providing, including updating according to the schedule for minimization of a downtime of business processes. In addition to management of the park of devices this tool provides simple service and increases profitability by means of drawing up and sending reports on use and also display of notifications on a status of devices on the configured control panel.

Add-on modules

Cloud Connector gives the chance to users to send documents in Dropbox OneDrive, OneDrive for Business, Google Drive or Microsoft SharePoint.

With Flex Connector it is possible to scan and transfer documents, to provide the general access for fast save, receiving and management that, according to the developer, will increase productivity of employees and will raise the security level. Users will be able to configure for files of a data entry field, to create folders and automatically to generate names. Also the personalized labels will be available to them to intelligent OKI MFPs and smartphones.

Flex Connector Plus are possibilities of Flex Connector and the Zonal OCR function allowing to take fields with data from documents as metadata which then can be imported automatically to any third-party application for simple and safe obtaining files. The taken data can be checked for the OKI MFP in order to avoid different errors

Additional software

SENDYS Explorer Premium OCR is an instrument of digitization of documents which basis is the technology of optical character recognition from ABBYY. This tool allows the computer to identify letters and words that users could edit, copy, analyze and take from them content in the same way as if it was the standard text document.

SENDYS Explorer Output Manager, according to the developer, provides safe management of printed materials, providing to the administrator of an ability to manage printing, copying and scanning of documents by users. Tasks of printing are protected by means of user authentication on OKI devices — for passing of check it is possible to enter data of an account into networks or the PIN code or to attach the map with the NFC module. The printed documents can also be received in any device with support of printing on demand. The report on management of printed materials will allow to trace expenses on printing, to avoid unnecessary printing and to implement politicians, for example, to limit color print. It will provide transparency of process and will help to reduce costs.
