Golden Meadows has implemented a warehouse management system from 1C

The warehouse management system was introduced by the manufacturer of dairy products in Western Siberia and the Urals - the Golden Meadows company. This became known in July 2019. IT company specially adapted the program "1C:WMS Logistics. Warehouse management "taking into account all the features of the production and delivery of goods.

The implemented logistics system allows you to receive real-time information about which item, what release date and how much is in stock. Now the products are sorted into cells, pickers do not walk chaotically around the warehouse in search of the desired goods: the program forms a shipping task for them and draws up a route,

In addition, if the old automated logistics system, introduced by Zolotykh Meadows specialists on their own, did not reflect the picture of the remaining goods, now this problem has been solved and the shipment is formed taking into account the date of product production.

Another plus of the system is the ability to compile the timing for each operation performed by the warehouse employee. The company's management plans to analyze the work of employees in order to distribute the load to improve efficiency.

The 1C system was implemented in 10 branches and in three distribution centers of the company - in Sitnikovo, from where goods are supplied to the south of the Tyumen region and to neighboring regions, in Chelyabinsk, through which the products of Zolotykh Lugov also get to Yekaterinburg, and in Surgut - from here the machines with milk are sent to the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

Optimization work was carried out throughout the year. The difficulty was that the standard functionality of WMS did not fit, it was adapted specifically for Golden Meadows. In particular, programmers had to develop a scheme for assembling goods on flights, and not on points, provide for batch unloading of documents and other nuances.

In standard functionality, the program automatically selected the performer of the task. We asked to make this function remain with the foreman, because you need to take into account the load on people: 500 kilograms of products can be sent to one flight, a ton to another, and they will need different times for shipment.
