2020: Organization of remote video monitoring

Prof-IT Group announced on September 25, 2020 the organization of remote video monitoring of the competitive platforms WorldSkills Russia.

WorldSkills Russia national final – took place 2020 with the remote mode from September 6 to September 21, 2020 and brought together more than 3 thousand participants. Among participants there were more than 1 thousand juniors and also foreign contestants. The expert community of tender was provided by more than 700 people. In total within the final of the national championship of a competition passed on 130 competences of a remote and internal format (for juniors – on 71). Participants acted in home regions more than on 3 thousand platforms of competitions – in colleges and competence centers in the 24/7 mode.

On competence "Refrigerating Equipment and Conditioning Systems" specialists of PROF-IT GROUP implemented the project on remote monitoring of parameters of the equipment. The competition consisted of 5 modules, on training of each of which it was required of 3 o'clock and above. Participants needed to make components of the refrigeration unit, to find and eliminate faults, to make component mounting of the refrigeration unit, molding, to carry out wiring, to put the refrigeration unit into operation and to remove parameters.

All controlled indicators from installation were taken in real-time mode and transferred to a cloud service. Experts could be connected remotely to a cloud service and estimate quality of execution of works by participants of competitions.

The complete solution PROF-IT GROUP founded on the platform of Internet of Things ThingWorx from [[ PTC Inc (Parametric Technology Corporation )|PTC company]] also allows to put down marks to participants of competitions in the automatic mode and to store any historical data. The solution has advanced functionality which allows to manage the accounts given from competitions, to provide a video flow and remote assessment of tender. The offered technology can be scaled on competitions in other competences WorldSkills.

On competence Internet of Things specialists of PROF-IT GROUP organized remote video monitoring of competitive platforms, having provided at the same time more than 50 connections. Experts from around the world could watch all process of a competition online. 10 Russian and 3 foreign commands – representatives from Brazil and Ecuador participated in an action.

Answering the calls connected with a pandemic together with our partners we developed the specialized solution of Remote WorldSkills supporting competitions of WorldSkills in the remote mode. Use of technologies minimizes effect of remote participation, and the functionality of the solution allows to manage process of carrying out and accounting of results of competitions and demonstration examinations, to carry out the remote assessment of competitions, - Evgeny Uraskin, the head of Internet of Things of PROF-IT GROUP company comments.

The solution is from several IP cameras, the video server for fixing and record on video of the events on the platform in real time and also supports for convenient fixing of the equipment. Thanks to a cloud service of TRASSIR Cloud using the client software of TRASSIR it is possible to observe shooting from cameras at any time from any place in the world by means of the normal smartphone or the tablet.

2019: Deployment of the IoT-platform for competitions in competence Internet of Things

On August 22, 2019 the company Prof-IT Group announced delivery of software for competitions in competence "Internet of Things" the world championship on professional skill WorldSkills Kazan 2019. The company unrolled on the training ground of the championship IoT- the platform which will be used for competitions. The provided set of solutions is applicable for obtaining the status of competence center of IoT and creation based on educational organizations Russia of digital laboratories.

As noted in Prof-IT Group, development of competences in the direction Internet of Things is a part of the program of upgrade of professional education in Russia, including using "implementation of the adaptive, praktiko-focused and flexible educational programs". In particular, the National Education project of the Ministry of Public Education of the Russian Federation includes the Federal project "Young Professionals" within which it is going "create by 2024 network of 100 centers of the advancing professional training and 5000 workshops with the modern equipment, participation of 70% of the people studying according to programs of secondary professional education in different forms of mentoring, advanced training of 35 thousand teachers of the programs based on experience of the Union "Young professionals" (Vorldskills Russia)".

Obtaining the status of competence center of IoT will give to educational institutions an opportunity to become the experts recognized at the national level in the field of Internet of Things. Educational institutions of Russia will be able to act as specialized regional platforms on retraining of personnel and advanced training, to provide training of staff of industrial enterprises and to carry out developmental works with potential on obtaining commercial orders.
