The Russian Space Systems holding (RKS, is included into Roskosmos State corporation) announced on August 29, 2019 development of the digital sensor of vibration of the miniature sizes with the self-testing mode. The sensor already showed the efficiency and reliability in actual practice to operation at the enterprises of the oil and gas industry.
Intelligent sensors of vibration, except necessary for formation of the correct display of the measured value of functions, perform functions on normalization of a signal, correction of an amplitude-frequency characteristic and also carry out self-testing. Intelligent sensors of development and production of JSC Scientific and Production Association of the Measuring Equipment (NPO IT, is included into RKS) are used in the oil and gas industry for ensuring high accuracy of measurement of parameters of vibration on different objects under severe conditions of operation — impact of blows of big power, in the conditions of high and low temperatures, intensive electromagnetic and static fields.
Structurally the sensor is the piezoelectric accelerometer with the built-in electronics. The electronic module in digital sensors of vibration is located in a head part of the sensor that allowed to reduce significantly weight-dimension characteristics, specified in RKS. Control of work of all system is exercised by the microprocessor. On its command there is analog digital conversion of a signal, integration of the measured value, digital filtering and issue of the measured value in a rated type. Information transfer happens via RS-485 interface under the Modbus RTU protocol.
Transition to sensors of control of mechanical values with the unified digital output at the low cost provides high noise immunity and autonomy. Besides, sensors of vibration were initially created for measurement of vibration processes on objects of rocketry and aircraft therefore have high degree of reliability and accuracy, explained in RKS.
As of August 29 modification of the sensor which will work in the long term together with the universal onboard telemetric Aster system during start-up of carrier rockets and spaceships passes tests. The system of self-testing of the digital sensor due to capability to analyze a situation allows to increase its efficiency and reliability — the head research and experimental production department of development and production of sensors of vibration of special and common industrial appointment of NPO IT Vladimir Choubin noted. |
