Kozlov Mikhail Aleksandrovich
Kozlov Mikhail Aleksandrovich

Mikhail Aleksandrovich Kozlov - Trend Micro regional manager in Russia and the CIS countries since May 2009. Prior to his appointment, he held a similar position at VMware. In December 2009, he called VDEL his main place of work, where he held the position of Regional Manager Russia/CIS.

As the main reason for leaving VMware, Kozlov called fundamental discrepancies with European leadership in terms of the company's strategy for further business development in Russia and the CIS countries. According to him, it is necessary to invest in Russia more actively. When asked by CNews whether this means that the approach will be exactly the same at the new place of work, the regional manager replied that the company's Russian investments are aimed primarily at opening the regional office itself. In addition, a sales manager vacancy has been opened and a number of technical items may appear.

Leaving VDEL

Since July 1, 2010, Mikhail Kozlov has also left VDEL. According to Mikhail Kozlov, the main reason for his resignation was the lack of mutual understanding with shareholders: in particular, the sale of the technological division by the company, which did not coincide with Mikhail Kozlov's vision for the development of the company. We are talking about the transfer of VDEL to a strategic partner represented by VNIINS named after V.V. Solomatin division of the NCPR ("National Center for Support and Development"), which took place in June 2010. After the transfer of the technological division, VDEL de facto retains only the functions of a representative of Western vendors in the Russian market, while NCPR will deal with practical developments.

Mikhail Kozlov has not yet decided on further career development and is considering proposals. "During my work in the high-tech market, I helped a large number of well-known world companies start working or continue their development in Russia and the CIS, for example: Alfresco, Fiserv, Microsoft, Red Hat, Trend Micro, VMware. In the future, it would be interesting for me to continue to engage in attracting leading technologies to Russia and developing new markets, "he said. According to him, this direction is promising despite the fact that the investment climate has not yet recovered after the crisis.

As of January 2014, he is the director of business development at De Novo.

Transition to ActiveCloud

In October 2014, after De Novo joined ActiveCloud, Mikhail received the position of Director of Business Development of ActiveCloud Group of Companies. [1].

As of April 30, 2015, Mikhail Aleksandrovich Kozlov works as director of business development at ActiveCloud Group of Companies.

As of October 2018, he is no longer an employee of ActiveCloud.
