2020: Introduction of Warehouse Management System

The transportation management process at Axelot TMS was implemented as follows. To schedule flights, Requests for cargo transportation from ERP on the basis of "1C: Trade Management" via Datareon MQ are loaded into the system. Transportation Orders consolidate information on cargo items and product composition. The formation of flights is carried out automatically taking into account restrictions on geographical areas, time windows for the delivery of cargo, as well as areas of activity. In the process of automatic planning of flights, the system calculates the distances between delivery points in the zone, and also solves the problem of a traveling salesman (detour of points inside the flight) taking into account the selected time window for receiving.

The second phase of the project for the transition to the Axelot X platform was the implementation of the Axelot WMS X5 warehouse process management system. Previously, the company's warehouse was already partially automated on the basis of the third generation system from Axelot - "1C-Logistics Warehouse Management 3."

2019: Completion of the first phase of the transition to AXELOT X

On September 13, 2019, Axelot announced that the Olant chain of stores had completed the first stage of the transition to the AXELOT X logistics platform.

Within the framework of the project, the latest generation AXELOT TMS X4 system was introduced, designed to automate transport and transportation management. The software solution allows you to manage all transportation processes. Next, we plan to implement the next component of the platform - Axelot WMS X5 for warehouse logistics automation.

About 250 applications for transportation are processed at the company per day.

Within the framework of the chosen business development strategy, the company pays great importance to the development of online trading.

Previously, Olant used a software solution designed only for routing applications manually. Logicians independently compiled delivery flights, which often negatively affected the quality of planning. This decision has ceased to meet the needs of the business due to the increase in the number of applications for the delivery of products, the need to improve the service for the client, and control the work of drivers. Manual processing led to a number of problems that negatively affected the efficiency of business processes, which, as a result, prompted the management of Olant to implement a new TMS system.

Since the bulk of the company's orders are processed through an online store, the task arose to implement seamless integration between AXELOT TMS and 1C: Trade Management"." When ordering in an online store, customers often change data about the address or selected delivery time interval. At the same time, such changes should be instantly transferred from ": 1C Trade Management" to AXELOT TMS to carry out correct and timely planning. This goal was achieved.

Thanks to the implementation of AXELOT TMS at Olant, transportation processes are fully controlled. Transportation requisitions are recorded and planned in real time.
