2019: End of the cloud project

On September 16, 2019 the company Softline reported that it completed cloud the project thanks to which the company PHILIN increased efficiency of interaction with the Russian non-profit organizations. Use of resources of selected servers Dell EMC PowerEdge helped the customer to provide stable functioning and high performance of solutions 1C in a uniform circuit of corporate automation.

According to the company, specifics of activity of the company, annual increase in number of clients and volume of the processed data required regular accumulation of computing powers. The carried-out IT audit showed that resources which were operated by PHILIN already in the short term will cease to meet the requirements to reliability and performance. For transition to the following service level of non-profit organizations the company management made the decision on transfer of corporate systems to higher computing powers.

Purchase of the additional server, as well as its acquisition in leasing, did not close those tasks which faced the enterprise. Therefore the possibility of use of necessary volume of resources under lease began to be considered. At the same time it was important to company to provide stable functioning and high performance of several solutions 1C in a uniform circuit of corporate automation.

IT specialists of PHILIN studied proposals of the main market participants. The most optimal variant was offered by Softline. Experts of Softline, having revealed needs of the customer, recommended him demanded service of Dedicated.

Within service of Softline Dedicated the rack Dell EMC PowerEdge 13 and 14 servers of generation are used. They are an optimal combination of computing resources and memory to high-scalable architecture and provide the maximum capacity of a broad spectrum of applications. All equipment is concentrated in the data center of the Tier III level located in Moscow.

Starting the project, we considered solutions of 7 different providers – large players of the market of high technologies. First of all, we wanted to achieve maximum capacity in system 1C. Not all products which were tested by us conformed to this requirement. Not all providers offered flexible terms of cooperation. As a result we came to a conclusion that we suit service of Dedicated more from Softline company with which structurally we interact two years. Professionals of Softline offered the service comprising an optimal ratio of performance and cost. We changed a configuration in the course of use of a dedicated server slightly, added a little disk space.
