The Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Dagestan automated printing and mailing of penalties using solutions of Xerox

2019: Automation of printing and mailing of penalties

On October 22, 2019 Xerox reported that the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Republic of Dagestan, JSC Azimouth and Sotsialnye sistemy LLC optimized printing and mailing of penalties for violation of traffic regulations within implementation of the Safe City complex for the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Dagestan. These goals managed to be achieved thanks to equipment installation and software solutions of Xerox. The complex accelerated production of personal departures and made it predicted and managed, having as much as possible increased fault tolerance and effectiveness.

The complex included the software Copier TKPIR (a technology complex of printing and mailing), Xerox FreeFlow VI Suite, two Xerox D110 CFM  with industrial FreeFlow Print Server controllers and the folder inserting Neopost DS-180i system.

Before printing of penalties information on violations of traffic regulations in the form of a flow with variable data is unloaded from the system of photofixing and arrives in TKPIR. Then information a la carte comes to the software of Xerox FreeFlow VI Suite which automatically creates forms of resolutions and the receipt for payment. Then personal departures are located in envelopes and are packed in a box for sending for mail and also the accompanying documentation is prepared.

Via interfaces (automated workplaces) of software TKPIR the organization traces and administers all processes within a complex: from data reception before packaging of departures. In case of technical failures a system will automatically create tasks for a reprint of defective products. And thanks to comprehensive automation one operator can cope with all list of tasks.

Besides, now the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Dagestan can independently, modify without involvement of third-party contractors the document formats sent to printing using the software of Xerox FreeFlow VI Design Pro entering into Xerox FreeFlow VI Suite. Experts of Xerox provided training in work with these tools for specialists of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

JSC Azimouth and Sotsialnye sistemy LLC set for us major problems for which solution powerful tools were required. Therefore we suggested to install the Xerox D110 CFM which have the high performance, sufficient to print penalties for all region. And "heart" systems became TKPIR and Xerox FreeFlow VI Suite which allow to manage from a unified environment all processes from unloading of data before sending receipts to post office, comments Alexey Malyshev, the head of department of implementation of projects of Xerox company Russia

Automation of printing and mailing of penalties was executed within complex upgrade of infrastructure which organizations is custom-made by Social Systems company. The Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Dagestan considers the possibility of expansion of a printing complex.

Achieve timely payment of penalties — one of our priority tasks. But without upgrade of printing processes and mailing on preparation of departures too much time and resources left. The hardware and software system of Xerox helped to solve this problem.
