2024: Optimizing Functionality for Streamers

CloudTips has updated functionality for streamers. Content makers can now use two widgets: to collect donations and to notify them of their receipt during the broadcast. Both widgets are integrated through the OBS studio system and its counterparts. CloudPayments (Claudpayments) announced this on April 9, 2024.

For streamers, the commission is from 0%, and for the payer it is not required. The content maker can withdraw funds day in, day out for bank card RUSSIAN FEDERATION or continue to save.

A streamer in CloudTips' personal account can create a payment link for accepting donations to collect for a specific purpose and monetize content.

The payment form includes four payment methods: bank card, Tinkoff Pay, Yandex Pay and SBP. The streamer can customize the form himself: add a logo, target text, for example, "Copy to the microphone," adjust the amount that the payer can leave. By default, there is an arbitrary amount, but you can set the minimum or desired donation.

Also, the streamer can set up in the payment form the collection of information about the sender of the donation, which will be announced in the notification. For example, name and comment.

In the CloudTips personal account, the streamer can set up a fundraising progress bar that will be shown during the broadcast. The visual can also be customized: a description of the goal, a time limit, the required amount, and what percentage has already been collected.

A streamer in his personal account CloudTips can create up to 10 goals that he wants to save up for. During the broadcast, there is a collection for one target, but it can be replaced during the stream. For example, if the required amount is collected by the middle of the broadcast, then you can activate a new target in your personal account. This will not change the link.

The streamer can set up a sound notification when a donation is received during the broadcast. To do this, just specify the notification duration, volume and speech speed in your CloudTips personal account, as well as add an image or hyph that will be displayed during the stream.

Availability of online constructor of POS materials with QR code

Since July 2023, all partners of the CloudTips service have access to an online constructor of POS materials with a QR code in their personal account. Now, in just a couple of minutes, institution managers can create a branded printing with a QR code and start accepting online tips.

The decision is relevant for all areas of business in which employees accept tips using a QR code posted on POS materials. For example, restaurants, beauty salons, spa salons. For July 2023, the online designer proposes to create table tents - small paper desktop stands. The most popular places for their location are the cash area, the foreman's workplace, tables in restaurants and cafes.

Managers of establishments can independently adapt the design of POS materials for receiving tips in the CloudTips personal account. In the designer, you can add a logo, select a color, and make a signature. CloudTips designers have developed two options for positioning the QR code: center or top.

A QR code on printing can lead to a personal page for sending tips to an employee or to a common page of an institution with a list of all employees. This is convenient for companies with a large team.

The design of POS materials takes an average of 2-3 days. Thanks to the online designer, the process will take only a few minutes.

So far, there are three table tent options: Insert, Triangle, and House. These are the most popular POS materials among CloudTips merchants. The plans to expand the line of formats - add business cards and stickers with a QR code for receiving tips, as well as offer new design options.

Zeroing commission for tip recipients

From June 2023, in the CloudTips service for tipped recipients, employees of partner companies, the commission will be 0%. For companies, connecting to the CloudTips service has always been free. Now, for their employees, the commission will be 0%, in accordance with the terms of the Offer. For individuals who registered with the service on their own, the conditions for receiving a tip are preserved: commission 5% - withdrawal to, card Tinkoff 7% - withdrawal to the cards of others. banks

CloudTips offers different ways to instantly send tips: Tinkoff Pay, Yandex Pay, SBP, etc. Also, the user can save card data for sending tips.

Integration with Tinkoff Pay

CloudTips, a cashless tip and donation service, has connected Tinkoff Pay - now tips can be transferred in just a couple of clicks and without entering card details. This was announced on March 27, 2023 by representatives of Tinkoff Bank.

CloudTips service connects Tinkoff Pay for instant tip transfer

As reported, you can now leave a tip with Tinkoff Pay wherever the CloudTips service is present - for example, in restaurants, bars and cafes, in taxis, beauty salons , delivery across Russia, etc. All Tinkoff customers with a mobile application installed can transfer tips in an accelerated way through Tinkoff Pay .

To transfer tips using Tinkoff Pay, you need to scan the recipient's QR code with your phone camera, enter the payment amount and click on the Tinkoff Pay button. The departure of Apple Pay and Google Pay greatly affected the tip and donation segment, since most of these transfers were made with their help. With the disappearance of these services, the number of tip transfers fell by 30%. Customers are used to paying for a couple of clicks and do not want to spend time driving in card details and waiting for an SMS code to confirm payment. In addition, in a restaurant in a large company, this is not always convenient: people pay more attention to communication and do not want to waste time on other things. And recently, cashless tips are increasingly gaining popularity in the field of delivery, taxis, as well as in beauty salons. Thanks to Tinkoff Pay, the number of tip transfer transactions is gradually recovering. For example, the first results of the work showed that the share of payments through Tinkoff Pay in the CloudTips service reached 21.5%. Every second customer from those to whom Tinkoff Pay is available chooses this particular payment method.

Donations are the next stage in the development of the service, from the very beginning we aimed at this promising market and are confident that we will take our place in it, and gamers will fully appreciate the convenience of our solution,

Donates are a large and promising market. In 2018 alone, the turnover of donations in Russia amounted to almost 12 billion rubles. For us, this market is little known, but we can become useful to this direction, because we have a technological payment solution,

Our goal is to collect all available tools for monetizing streams within a single convenient platform. GetStream already has its own service for launching media advertising in broadcasts, we do campaigns with large brands. It's time to enter the donation market - so integration with CloudTips has become a logical stage of development for us,

Service launch

On October 24, 2019, Tinkoff Bank announced the launch of the CloudTips cashless tip transfer service. This is a joint project with CloudPayments.

CloudTips allows you to list cashless tips in any service areas where they can be in demand, for example, waiters, bartenders, hairdressers, taxi drivers, couriers, etc. With its help, it will be possible to transfer donations to streamers (organizers of Internet broadcasts), make targeted donations - for example, to street musicians and artists, and conduct crowdfunding.

Waiters, taxi drivers and couriers in Russia began to receive tips using a QR code

CloudTips works on the basis of a QR code, so to make a payment, the user does not need to pre-register or install a separate application. You need to scan the recipient's individual QR code with your smartphone camera. After that, the user will go to the page in the browser, where he can enter the required amount and, if necessary, leave a response or comment.

Users who plan to receive payments through CloudTips to their bank card need to form a personal QR code by registering on the CloudTips website. All transaction data is stored in the recipient's personal account: amounts and comments, and options for using the QR code are also presented there.

Recipients of tips will have to pay a commission - 5% for Tinkoff Bank cardholders and 10% for the rest. The service will also set translation limits. Its maximum amount will depend on the recipient's profile (waiter of a haute cuisine restaurant or small coffee shop) and his history of using the service.

It is expected that at the end of October 2019, a minimum commission will be introduced, which will be 4.9 rubles for transfers to the Tinkoff card and about 49 rubles from transfers to cards of other banks.

In the future, CloudTips will be integrated into the Tinkoff mobile application and its services.
