ER-Telecom Holding and the Government of the Voronezh region signed the Agreement on cooperation

2019: Agreement signature for the purpose of project implementation on development of telecommunication infrastructure

On December 11, 2019 ER-Telecom Holding reported that together with the Government of the Voronezh region signed the Agreement on cooperation, for the purpose of project implementation on development of telecommunication infrastructure, digital economy and the comfortable urban environment in the territory of the region. The document was signed by the president of JSC ER-Telecom Holding Andrey Kuzyaev and the Governor of the Voronezh region Alexander Gusev.

JSC ER-Telecom Holding is going to begin testing and provision of services based on industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) for objects of power and housing and communal services of the region. In addition, integration of elements of the Smart City system into the existing regional IT infrastructure is supposed what will allow to increase its reliability and efficiency.

Also, the Country Internet project is planned to implementation. It assumes construction of fiber-optic network in the territory of 31 municipal districts of the Voronezh region in 2020-2023. The initiative is aimed at the development of a broadband network of Internet access in the private sector and rural areas for the purpose of elimination of digital inequality and increase in availability of telecommunication services to the population and business.

Smart technologies automate the majority of routine processes, increasing efficiency of the existing infrastructure, ensuring safety and comfort in the cities and small settlements. In the territory of the Voronezh region JSC ER-Telecom Holding is going to direct more than one and a half billion rubles to implementation of the announced projects.
