Biography
Was born on December 31, 1980.
GITIS
Graduated from faculty of theater science of the Russian institute of theater.
2001: Work on television
Since 2001 worked at television as the correspondent of the Third channel and the Orthodox program on TVC. Was also the host of the Moscow-2009 and City and People programs on Stolitsa TV channel. Further directed a number of programs on the Third channel.
In 2010 - 2011 - the head of the final information and analytical Context program on Kultura TV channel.
2015: Adviser of department of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation
In 2015 was the adviser of Department of cinematography of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
2016: Channel One
Since 2016 - the associate director of Directorate of social and publicistic programs of Channel One. Besides, she took part in creation more than 80 documentaries, including on TV channels "Russia 1", "Kultura", Channel One.

On January 18, 2018 the acting director of the department of cinematography of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation is appointed.

January 21, 2020. By the decree Russian President V.V. Putin it is appointed to a position Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation.
Infection with COVID-19 coronavirus
On May 6, 2020 it became known that Olga Lyubimova caught COVID-19 coronavirus. Journalists were reported about it by the press secretary of the Minister of Culture Anna Usachyova.
