2020: The updated licensing type - packets of Pro, Premium and Enterprise

JSC KADFEM Si-Ay-Es, the partner of ANSYS company, announced on January 28, 2020 an exit of release of ANSYS 2020 of R1. Transition to more flexible scheme of licensing for users of software of ANSYS Discovery, ANSYS Fluids and ANSYS Mechanical became the main change.

The ANSYS tools for the solution of high-frequency and low-frequency tasks in the field of electromagnetism were updated. The updated type of licensing ANSYS Electronics Desktop – in the form of packets of Pro, Premium and Enterprise, well familiar to users of a strength and hydrodynamic product line of ANSYS is presented in version 2020 R1. Functional changes concerned, including:

• The software product for 3D electrodynamic modeling of a HF/very high frequency of ANSYS HFSS electronics, including HFSS 3D Layout.
• Solutions for modeling of the low-frequency electromagnetic phenomena of ANSYS Maxwell.
• The tool for obtaining equivalent RLCG parameters and creation of SPICE of models of connectors, packagings of the IC, touch screens, power ANSYS Q3D Extractor electronics.
• The software product for the analysis of integrity of a power supply and signals of ANSYS Slwave.
• The tool for 3D - calculations of a thermal status of electronics and solving of tasks of cooling of the electronic devices ANSYS Icepak.

Availability

The distribution kit of the version of ANSYS 2020 R1 is available to loading in appropriate section of ANSYS Customer Portal and also at offices of JSC KADFEM Si-Ay-Es company. Receiving license opportunities requires updating of the server of licenses to the version of ANSYS 2020 of R1. The current license files (for ANSYS 2019 R3) will continue to work with the manager of licenses without the need for their updating.

Options of package licensing ANSYS Electronics Desktop will be available only after updating of the manager of licenses and license files to the version of ANSYS 2020 of R1.
