2020: Selection of the production site in St. Petersburg and collecting of requests for the preorder
The Linuks-Format company and "Industrial Systems of Stream Data Processing" laboratory of the NTI SPbPU Center developed the Russia's first open platform for creation of neuroexercise machines and neurointerfaces. Investments into development made about 30 million rubles. It became known on February 6, 2020.
In January, 2020 the Linuks-Format company began process of selection of the production site in St. Petersburg and collecting of requests for the preorder. It is going to start production in the second quarter 2020. The project is implemented at a financial support of Fund of assistance to innovations (a grant of 20 million rubles) and own company funds of Linuks-Format.
The developed hardware-software complex represents a system for removal of signals of a brain and generation of their corrective action on the external device. Removal, preprocessing and the analysis of signals is made on the neuroheadset hardware (in the form of a hoop which needs to be put on the head), and control of the robotic platform is exercised by wireless transmission on Bluetooth using the BLE module. For communications and broadcastings of commands it is implemented own application on OS Android, providing acceptance and transfer data from the headset to the device.
The neurodesigner, first of all, is created for the educational purposes in the field of robotics for training of school students and students in development of neurointerfaces. Unlike analogs, the developed platform is created on the basis of free program and the hardware (open source) and has the open code. It will allow users to understand in details operation of this device and to create own neurointerfaces for the solution of the tasks.
Except the educational purposes, the platform will find application in social and commercial spheres. For example, there is an interest from the organizations working with physically disabled people. The neuroheadset allows to manage technical means of movement using brain signals. The international network of schools of robotics 'ROBBO Club' (the head company in St. Petersburg) which for February 6, 2020 enters 120+ of circles in Russia and abroad will become the first customer of the neurodesigner. It will be used for training of children in development of systems of control of robots using brain signals.

For the first time the demonstration sample of the platform of the neurodesigner was provided in December, 2019.
