Navicon implemented the system of marking in the Russian department of Chiesi Group

2020: Completion of implementation of Utrace Hub

On February 6, 2020 it became known that the system integrator and Navicon developer completed system implementation of the L4 Utrace Hub level, a cloud solution for marking for processes of distribution of Chiesi Group in the Russian Federation. The first wave of the project was implemented in time, and the pharmproizvoditel is ready to work with import of the serialized products already in the first quarter 2020.

Chiesi Group is the global pharmaceutical company founded more than 80 years ago in Italy. She specializes in development and production of the original medicines applied in pulmonology, a neonatology and treatment of rare diseases. In 2006 the Russian branch was open.

Before implementation of IT solution Chiesi booked general audit of the business processes connected with the movement of the serialized products. Diagnostics current and development of the target business processes providing compliance to requirements of obligatory marking was carried out by consulting company KPMG. Besides, specialists of KPMG gave to Chiesi the current support according to regulatory and methodological issues. Results were transferred to Navicon for formation of specifications on the basis of requirements to IT solution of Utrace Hub and implementation of IT project phase.

The first wave of the project starting in February, 2019 was aimed at the address of the serialized medicines imported from Italy for sales from customs warehouse. Preparation of processes of the company for transfer to the IC MDLP of the relevant data came to the end in November, 2019. For February, 2020 the Utrace Hub system is released in trial operation. The second wave of the project is implemented in parallel, it affects processes of contract manufacturing and distribution and is planned to end in the first quarter 2020.

I am glad to congratulate colleagues on end of the first wave of the project. I consider that harmonious work of a project team was a key factor of successful project implementation. In spite of the fact that the command consisted of representatives of four companies – Chiesi, KPMG, Navicon, Utrace, all worked as a unit. Duration of our project – the best illustration of that what complex and many-sided task is marking. High-quality study of all pool of tasks took months, even at very good rate of harmonious work which we took from the very beginning.
