Performance indicators
2024: Revenue growth of 64%
Utrace summed up 2024 and recorded revenue growth of 64%. Among the main factors that influenced this indicator are the update of the flagship products Utrace Hub and Utrace Analytics, the entry into 7 industries, the implementation of foreign projects, as well as the launch of a GxP validation service for computerized systems. The company announced this on January 20, 2025.
About 50% of the revenue was renewable revenue received from subscription to Utrace products. The rest is revenue from consulting services for new clients, large pharmaceutical and FMCG manufacturers. In addition, in 2024, the company implemented three projects to automate the process of managing digital labeling of medicines in Kazakhstan.
Since the beginning of 2024, the vendor's team has been updating flagship IT products. Thus, the functionality of Utrace HUB has been adapted to 7 industries subject to digital labeling requirements. The system has updated the user interface, as well as redesigned the functional modules for aggregation and full traceability, KIGU and sets.
In turn, Utrace Analytics was expanded with data available from the information system for monitoring the movement of drugs. As a result of the updates, the accuracy of information on drug shipments increased to 97-99%. This allowed pharmaceutical manufacturers to obtain a more accurate picture of the sale of drugs and more efficiently predict demand.
An important event in 2024 was the launch of its own GxP office based on Utrace. The number of GMP/GAMP 5 inspections of computerized systems of pharmaceutical companies involved in the production of medicines has significantly increased. With the withdrawal of global validation service providers from the market and the preparation of relevant documentation, Utrace took over such functions. The company has accumulated many years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, so the new service has become a logical continuation of the vendor's development in the direction of business consulting.
In 2024, Utrace also focused on scaling the corporate university and building a talent pool. The company believes that it is most profitable to grow specialists on their own. Thus, in the process of onboarding, employees are immersed in the specifics of the company's work and acquire skills not only in the main specialization, but also in related areas. Thanks to this approach, Utrace's workforce has almost doubled - from 80 to 150 employees. This made it possible to fully meet the vendor's need for specialists, including in "scarce" professions, such as business analyst, QA and DevOps engineer, etc.
In 2024, we grew in proportion to the entire market of solutions for digital labeling, so we expect that in 2025 this dynamics will continue and will be about 40-50%. We plan to continue to inform market participants, especially in new industries, about the launch of such projects, and will also continue to develop cooperation with the regulator and industry unions. We will also systematically make improvements to Utrace's own products aimed at improving the performance of our solutions and improving the user experience, "said Sergey Ignatkin, CEO of Utrace. |
