It is assumed that the agreement will contribute to the implementation of the concept in the field of digital development of society and the plan of priority measures for its implementation approved at the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS on October 25, 2019.
Earlier, the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS countries agreed to prepare a draft international program of innovative cooperation between the states of the Union for the period until 2030.
For the development of the digital economy within the CIS, you can use experience in this direction in the Eurasian Economic Union, Finance Minister RFAnton Siluanov previously drew attention. As part of the digital agenda of the EAEU, a number of projects are already being implemented until 2025, for example, an information system for interstate exchange of data and electronic documents, and active translation of the interaction of all participants in economic relations into numbers is underway.
A digital economy without basic research is impossible, coordination in this area is very important. In addition, previously there were good academies of sciences in all Union republics and high-class specialists and scientists worked there, especially in the field of general and applied sciences. Interaction at this level can give a synergistic effect, since one study always pushes another, "said Mikhail Belyaev, an expert at RISI, candidate of economic sciences.[1] |
