2020: Equipment of roads automated systems of weight and dimensional control

On February 18, 2020 the Softline company announced implementation of the complex project connected with equipment of regional roads of the Omsk region automated systems of weight and dimensional control (ASVGK). Thanks to effective operation of ASVGK the Omsk region expects to remove the causes of fast wear of a paving. It will allow not only to reduce road accident number, but also to save about 1.8 billion rubles on rescue and recovery operations.

Within the national project "Safe and Qualitative Highways" the Softline company set nine automatic points of weight and dimensional control for needs of Management of road economy of the Omsk region. Equipped with the modern equipment, they can fix the speed and parameters of cargo transport, thrust loads, number of axes, distance between them. A system reveals aberrations, registers offense and, having recognized the state number of the car, quickly transfers information to a data processing center. Here notices on penalties which vary from 150 thousand to half a million rubles form and sent.

When implementing the project of Softline used complex approach at which experts of the company executed a full stroke of works, since design of nine points of weight control, delivery, implementation of the equipment and finishing with integration of all created system with information base Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Being engaged in equipment of each post, specialists of Softline updated a paving. In it the pyezokristallichesky sensors determining weight parameters of trucks were mounted. In addition to an asphalt cloth, to stationary points of control it was necessary to install electrical equipment. Having solved this task, engineers of Softline prepared, tested and started a communication channel. It was required including to ensure smooth and effective operation of cameras of photovideo fixing which for the purpose of security equip all nine posts with ASVGK. Also the project provided drawing a road marking, installation of barriers and LED boards. Useful information for participants of traffic will be displayed: data on weather, current situation with accident rate, data on offenses and so on.

According to the project, all stationary points of weight and dimensional control are located at different distance from Omsk and are capable to control at least 180 km of regional highways. Complexes will help local authorities not only to remove basic reasons of fast wear of a roadbed, but also to save about 1.8 billion rubles on carrying out rescue and recovery operations. Moreover, the quality of roads will allow to reduce considerably road accident number in the area.

All nine posts which are designed to save a paving from wear for a long time are set by Softline company on the terms of finance lease. Within the public contract specialists of Softline till 2023 will be engaged in service maintenance of all systems of weight and dimensional control in the Omsk region.

"The Omsk region set nine points of the automated weight and dimensional control of vehicles. In scales of the whole country about hundred such points, nine – in our only one region are in recent years set. It, really, step forward. The president of the country set to the subjects of the Russian Federation such task, and we reached the target indicators set to us... The Omsk region implemented this project without uniform kopek of budgetary funds. All investments are means of the investor in the amount 952 million rubles... I consider that the area will only benefit from installation of this system. Such control system will allow to save our roads - to protect from an overload and by that to increase service life and also to indemnify the caused loss and to direct the received money to their recovery",
