Grigory Gurov was born in Stavropol on October 31, 1985.

Education

In 2002, Grigory Gurov graduated from high school and entered the North Caucasus Humanitarian and Technical Institute at the Faculty of Economics.

In 2006, after graduation, he was recommended for graduate school with a degree in Finance, Money Circulation and Credit.

Biography

2006-2008

From September 2006 to June 2007 he was chairman of the Youth Chamber of the city of Stavropol.

From February 2007 to February 2008 worked as a youth specialist at the Springboard Center for Youth Initiatives.

2020

As of March 2020, Grigory Gurov is responsible for the digital transformation of Rosmolodezh.

2021

Appointment to the post of Deputy Minister of Education and Science

In August 2021, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree appointing Grigory Gurov as Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. Prior to that, he worked as director of digital transformation at Rosmolodyozha.

In July 2021, the Ministry of Education and Science published a digital transformation strategy for the period until 2030. The document involves work in several areas:

  • Digital transformation architecture. The problem is that existing information systems were created at different times and are poorly connected. The ministry needs to develop a unified approach to the digital transformation of education and science, so that on its basis universities implement their own transformation strategies.

  • Development of digital services. The ministry intends to create a number of services for all aspects of the activities of educational and scientific organizations: administration, education, science and innovation, campus and infrastructure management.

  • Data management. The collection, quality and security of data in the system of science and higher education is now not in the best condition.

  • Infrastructure upgrades. Here, the ministry sets the goal of replacing all obsolete equipment and ensuring that the infrastructure of universities and research centers changes in a timely manner in accordance with modern technical requirements.

  • Talent management. As a result of the implementation of the strategy, 100% of teachers and administrative employees in universities should have digital competencies.[1]"

For the period from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021, the income of the family of Grigory Gurov amounted to 5.1 million rubles. Personal income - 5 million rubles, spouse income - 69,002 rubles[2].

2022: Appointment as Head of the "New Pioneer"

On December 13, 2022, by decree of the President of Russia, Grigory Gurov was appointed Chairman of the Board of the All-Russian Public and State Movement of Children and Youth. Prior to that, he served as Deputy Minister of Education and Science.[4]
