On March 20, 2020 TAdviser knew of development by Viardayver company from Yekaterinburg of the system of underwater virtual reality VRDiver.
Use of this system opens fascinating opportunities for water entertainments, rehabilitations, industrial and military diving.
The VRDiver system has versions for snorkeling and for diving. The diving version is developed based on the PC BP computer and intended first of all for modeling and the premium entertaining applications based on position fix, and the version for snorkeling works based on the mobile processor and perfectly is suitable for the general entertainments and hydrorehabilitation.
With the system of tracking VRDiver there is no need to plunge deeply under water to simulate the deepest virtual underwater abyss therefore there is no risk of a decompression or a barotrauma. The full-front mask provides safe and easy breath and a voice communication. The system of abnormal emersion can be immediately activated by either the user, or the observer ashore. The version for scuba diving is safe and is suitable both for children, and for adults.
Thanks to smooth movements in water, underwater, unlike normal land VR, does not make sick or dizziness. VR mask weight under water does not press on a neck. Therefore underwater VR is a great choice for the purposes of hydrorehabilitation. Immersion to the virtual world forces to forget about restriction of the movement and reduces pain and concern during the trainings, and the motivation to the movement considerably increases.
The VRDiver system quickly and easily is established and cleans up that allows to be switched between normal occupations by swimming and virtual sessions. The mobile system of VRDiver can be used even in quiet open water.
According to forecasts, the world market of theme parks in 2027 will make 37.5 billion dollars. A third of this digit — the market of virtual attractions. The world market of aquaparks is estimated by same year approximately at 11.7 billion dollars. Both they, and at us have own helmets, but we also have the system of tracking: the person can really float in a virtual environment, but not to be just passive observer. The invention can be applied in the field of hydrorehabilitation: the center of improving practice of Akvaskazk and the English hub of VR solutions for VRTherapies therapy became our first client. Demonstration was requested laboratory of human-computer interaction in Birmingham and the deepest pool in the world of Y-40.
