Biography

Graduated from philological faculty of the Moscow pedagogical state university of V.I. Lenin. Has degree of MVA of the Stockholm school of economy.

Marina Lyovina has more than 20-year length of service in the telecommunication industry. From 2002 to 2009 she held a post of the vice president for corporate affairs in Ericsson Europe Asia East and Central company, being responsible for the markets Russia and the CIS countries. Before Levin was responsible for marketing communications in the telecom operator MegaFon.

Since March, 2009 Marina Lyovina began to work in Microsoft Russia, having taken in the company a position of the board member and director of the department of public relations, information policy and corporate liability of Microsoft in Russia. In this position she is responsible for external and internal relations of the company at the federal and regional levels. Marina Lyovina submits to the president of Microsoft in Russia Pavel Betsis.

Commenting on this appointment, Nikolay Pryanishnikov holding at that time a position of the president of Microsoft in Russia noted: "I am very glad that ranks of our team of top managers will be joined by the expert who is very respected in the professional environment, the experienced head having extensive Russian and international work experience in the hi-tech sector. She will head work on further strengthening of a brand of Microsoft in Russia, reputations of the company as leading manufacturer of the software and effective solutions for business management. The marine, certainly, will carry on traditions of open and effective communication of Microsoft with media".

In June, 2017 Marina Lyovina, the director of the department of public relations, information policy and the corporate liability of Microsoft in Russia, is appointed by the director of commercial communications of the Pacific Rim including 17 countries[1] In a new role she will be responsible for PR-promotion of commercial products and Microsoft services, start of new initiatives and campaigns and also strengthening of a brand of Microsoft in all countries of the region. Marina Lyovina enters a position since August 14, 2017 and will submit directly to Andrew Pickup, the head of department of communications of the Pacific Rim.

Betsis Pavel, the president of Microsoft in Russia, so comments on appointment: "Under the leadership of Marina the Russian PR-division managed to perform transformation of image of Microsoft in the Russian media space: from the severe company for "geeks" – to the innovative and technological company with a human face. A marine – the wonderful colleague and the partner, and I am absolutely sure that it will achieve great success in the new role as its working experience, knowledge and vigor will be highly appreciated always and everywhere".
