Biography

Victor Koresh was born in 1953. Till 1994 worked at the enterprises of the Ministry of Communications.

In  1976 graduated from the Leningrad electrotechnical institute of communication of   the prof. M.A. Bonch-Bruyevich as "An engineer of telecommunication".

• From 1986 to 1994 - the Leningrad telegraph (CEO).

• From 1994 to 1997 – the CEO "Baltik kommunikeyshnz Limited" (BCL).

• Took key positions in Sovintel telecommunication companies (the CEO of the St. Petersburg branch from 1997 to  2001)

• From  2001 to  March, 2007  — the CEO of PeterStar Ltd.

• From April, 2007 to February, 2011 - the vice president Comstar-OTS on regional development, since February, 2009 combined this position with a position of the CEO of 100% of Comstar Regions subsidiary company.

• In February, 2011 Board of Directors "the Comstar - Regions" (merges regional assets of Comstar) considered a request for resignation of the CEO of the company, the vice president "Comstar - OTS" on regional development of Victor Koresh.

2011-2015: President of Akado Group

On August 3, 2011 RBC daily sources in Renova company (owns a controlling stake of Akado Group) reported^[1]that Victor Koresh is invited to a post of the CEO of Akado Group which already gave the consent. His contract can be signed at the end of August, 2011.

On August 22, 2011 the solution of shareholders Victor Koresh is appointed the president of Akado Group.

On September 9, 2011 at extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of Comcor company (a trademark of Akado Telecom) the decision on Victor Koresh's appointment was made by the CEO of the company. Its ultimate goal was in two years to achieve development in regions of presence and, perhaps, to enter the new markets, Vladimir Kremer who was then the chairman of the supervisory board Akado said. But active expansion did not turn out – on the middle of 2015 in St. Petersburg of Akado occupies less than 1% of the ShPD market, in Yekaterinburg – about 15%. The company was several years in a status of pre-sale preparation, and economy on investments is incompatible with active development.

In May, 2015 it became known that Victor Koresh will leave a post of the president of Akado – Dmitry Dronov who was earlier holding different posts in Comstar-OTS (since 2010 enters into MTS) will direct group. The contract with Koresh comes to an end on May 31, 2015 and by mutual consent does not last. For preserving of succession and further strategy implementation of development of the company in which development Koresh was directly involved he becomes the member of the supervisory board of Akado.
