Detained in Italy at the request of the United States, the son of Krasnoyarsk Governor Alexander Uss Artem Uss in January 2023 appealed to the court with a request to send him to the Russian Federation, where a case was also opened against him on charges of fraud. In the United States, he was charged with evading sanctions and money laundering, for which he could face up to 30 years in prison.
