Eurasian Bank of Kazakhstan implemented the FIS Collection Platform system

On April 21, 2020 the Financial Information Systems company (FIS, FIS) announced implementation of the FIS Collection Platform kollekshn-system in the Eurasian bank - one of the active developing financial institutions of Kazakhstan.

The project started in the middle of 2017 when the bank began collection of information about systems on work with arrears, and FIS was included in the applicants list for consideration. Then, almost a year, Eurasian studied proposals of different suppliers, comparing their functionality and commercial conditions of use. Eurasian came to a conclusion that it is necessary to select not the just multifunction solution for a kollekshen, and the target BPM platform for implementation of several IT systems at once. Moreover, the bank considered what in the long term will be able to create applications on Case Platform independently, without the appeal to project office FIS, or attracting partner integrators, the platform of production of FIS-is a designer in whom not experienced programmers, and the qualified business analysts work.

Low-code (the concept assuming an opportunity to modify, adapt and develop a system directly during "fighting" operation with a minimum of coding and a maximum of visual development) and BPM-engine ("engine" for business process automation) – two trends of development of corporate systems and they are united in Case Platform.

As a result, after the won tender, the project was started in work in January, 2019. For its implementation three part were taken at once: Eurasian, FIS and the known Kazakhstan integrator – Asseco company (the present name - NTI). As the result, by September, 2019 a product with the working name FIS Collection Platform was ready to delivery in trial operation, and, later few months, after testing on fighting data, is started in Eurasian.

Parameters of the IT platform implemented in bank on the example of a kollekshen:

  • Daily information processing from a portfolio in more, than 1.6 million active agreements (as of April, 2020), with data loading through integration into the core banking system.
  • Sale of the mechanism of the "batchevy" BPM capable to cope with solving of tasks of ETL on Big Data without attraction of the specialized ETL tools.
  • Automation of end-to-end collecting at all stages of a kollekshen:

Prevention> Early collecting> Late collecting> Judicial proceedings> Enforcement proceeding.

  • Implementation of a multifunction system for Call center under the working name FIS Call center with simultaneous implementation in quality components of the robot who is effectively replacing operators with stages of early collecting.

As of April, 2020, soft collection Eurasian - one of the most effective both across Kazakhstan, and across the CIS that was confirmed by the analysis McKinsey&Company, and makes from 95% to 97% of return of debt. After start of works on a kollekshn-system, the bank started internal projects on implementation and other IT products based on Case Platform: decision making support systems, the unified front office + CRM, kampeyn-management of a system. FIS for more than 16 years of work in the market of bank automation accumulated wide experience and offers financial institutions a marketplace from about 20 products which are in total forming basis of an ecosystem of modern digital-bank.
