Launch of a single car selection service from all over the market

SberAvto, a service for buying and selling cars online (part of the Sber ecosystem), launched a car selection service from the entire market on August 5, 2021. The launch of the service is dictated by a market request, which is characterized by the presence of disparate offers from individual players and resellers and a low level of transparency.

According to Sberbank, SberAvto has become the first service to systematize proposals for selecting cars from different players on its platform and provide customers with a comfortable and safe purchase.

The selection expert will examine the available offers for new cars and used cars published on message boards, in closed bases, dealerships and from private sellers. He also organizes an assessment, technical and legal inspection of the car and the seller, bidding with the seller and will accompany the execution of the transaction.

The cost of the promotion service is 14,700 rubles, while the average market cost of selecting a turnkey car, depending on the brand and model, is at the level of 30,000-50,000 rubles.

The service is already available to residents of Moscow and the Moscow region, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Sochi, Stavropol and Novorossiysk. By the end of the year, residents of all million-plus cities in the country will be able to use it.

The service of selecting cars from all over the market will allow the user to safely and quickly buy the necessary car. At the same time, the client does not need to look for a "picker" or communicate with sellers at his own peril and risk. The launch of the project among the employees of the ecosystem showed a high demand for the service: we sold hundreds of cars in a short time. For SberAvto, this is another important step towards creating a single entry point for the client on all issues related to the search, purchase and ownership of the car, - Oleg Golubtsov, CEO of the classified industry of Sber, commented on the event.

On average, service employees find a car in a week, in some cases the search can take 2-3 weeks. Selection time depends on search criteria, market situation, popularity of brand and model and other factors. If no car is found in 60 days, the service returns money for the service. There are practically no restrictions on finding a car (with the exception of the type of car: selection is not carried out for commercial vehicles). The cost of a car must be at least 700,000 rubles, age - no more than 10 years.

The deal is taking place on the SberAvto platform - the user will be able to pay for the car using a link sent by a company employee to the service chat. If necessary, the service specialist will also help to apply for a loan for the selected car, insurance, road assistance and other services.

It is worth noting that in May 2021, SberAvto and SberLeasing launched a long-term rental of cars for individuals - the SberAvtopodpiska service. Users can subscribe to a car for a period of 6 months to 3 years. The rent includes insurance, taxes, maintenance, tire fitting and other services.

Selling cars directly from manufacturers

At the end of May 2020 , car sales directly from manufacturers began on the SberAvto marketplace. The Jeep brand was the first to join the service.

Users will be provided with a personal discount in the amount of 35-50 thousand rubles when buying SUVs of any model of this brand. This discount can be summarized with other special offers for the acquisition of Jeep and applies to the entire lineup. At the same time, cars of other brands are still available in the application, but from dealers, and not directly from the manufacturer.

Jeep began selling cars online in Russia

Using SberAvto, you can save Jeep cars in any region, Russia even where there is no official dealer of the American brand. When buying through the marketplace Sberbank , the car will be delivered to the client's home: delivery "to the door" will be available in, and To Moscow St. Petersburg other large cities (within the same city). Launch of the SberAvto marketplace

On April 28, 2020, Sberbank informed TAdviser about the launch of the SberAvto marketplace, a multifunctional mobile application for finding, buying and selling new and used cars from individuals and legal entities, as well as for issuing a car loan and car insurance.

Sberbank launches SberAvto service for buying and selling cars

This service will solve such customer problems as opaque pricing, tedious negotiations and will avoid communication with unscrupulous sellers and "gray" dealers. It is important that all actions to buy a car - from choice to delivery - can be carried out without leaving home. Delivery of the car "to the door" will be available for customers of the service in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other large cities (within the same city). SberAvto will be a single entry point for individuals (buyers and sellers) and legal entities (car dealers).

By purchasing a car on SberAvto, the client will be able to issue the entire package of documents, choose the optimal insurance and apply for a loan online. Transactions on SberAvto will be safe: only verified dealers will receive access to the application, the bank will provide legal support and protection for the transaction. A personal online concierge will help you choose a car, negotiate with a dealer and prepare documents.

For car dealers, the so-called "End-to-End" service will become an effective channel for promoting its services, save time on documentation and speed up transaction support.
