2020: Installation of 17 thermal imagers

ALROSA increases the amount of funds, selected for fight against spread of a koronavirusny infection. In health centers and divisions of the company in Yakutia, Smolensk and Moscow Rostelecom installed 17 thermal imagers, two of which are placed at the airports Peace and Polar (the city Successful). Rostelecom reported about it on April 29, 2020.

ALROSA continues to buy protective and disinfectants, the equipment for the regional hospitals, health centers of the Medical center, the enterprises and the child organizations of group located in the territory of the Sakha (Yakutia) Republic and also in Arkhangelsk and Moscow.

During this difficult period we want to protect not only staff of the company, but also residents of the diamond province in general. We calculate that thermal imagers will help us to counteract even more effectively spread of a coronavirus and also will be good help for our physicians who honesty work, fight for our health — the deputy CEO of ALROSA Olga Makarova noted.

Rostelecom at the request of ALROSA delivered the complete solution of contactless temperature measurement^[1] body^[2] using thermal imaging cameras of video surveillance (thermal imagers). The solution allows to take automatically body temperature with a speed up to 80 people per second.

The thermal imager is intended for the organizations which specifics do not allow to transfer employees to remote work and also for installation in places with big passability. Instant identification of people with the increased temperature can reduce risks of spread of viral infections.

Data on body temperature entering on the enterprise are output to the separate monitor of protection. At identification of the person with the increased temperature the light and sound notification joins. The security guard suggests to pass repeatedly point of the thermal imager and, in case of confirmation, sends the worker under observation of medical personnel.

Advantage of the solution of Rostelecom is the high accuracy of measurement, a component up to 0.3 Celsius degrees, fast screening, long distance at which measurements, a wide scope, a possibility of the choice of a zone of control, record of archive in visible and infrared ranges, flexible configuration of a temperature threshold are taken — the director of product office "Rostelecom" of corporate and state segments Vladimir Yeremeyev told.

The feature of the solution of Rostelecom consists in completely automatic high-precision calibration of thermal imagers using absolutely black body constructed on own video analytics. It significantly reduces the period of idle time of a complex when it is necessary to wait technical support for repeated calibration — Vladimir Yeremeyev added.

Thermal imagers of Rostelecom already occupied the niche and are successfully used to security of life and health. In connection with a difficult epidemiological situation, they became the effective tool for temperature measurement of a body in places with high traffic of people.
