2020: An exit to more than 300 cities and settlements through partnership with Russian Post

On May 27, 2020 the M of Video Eldorado company reported that it began cooperation with Russian Post on delivery and issue of online orders. The pilot started in Moscow, the Moscow region, Kazan and Novosibirsk, in the nearest future delivery of the equipment through departments of Russian Post will earn in Yekaterinburg and Sverdlovsk region and also in Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod Region. Already at the first stage the project will allow M.Video to offer electronics in more than 300 localities where the retailer was not provided before. After establishing all processes partners plan step-by-step scaling of delivery to other cities – in the long term to 42,000 departments across all Russia.

According to the company, in the pilot mode the Russian Post conducts issue of online orders of M.Video in 1291 department of Moscow, the Moscow region, Kazan and Novosibirsk. Departments of Russian Post in terms of a location supplement M.Video retail network in such a way that buyers can select the option, next to the house. It is possible to take away in departments of Russian Post the orders issued on the website and also in the long term in mobile application and through contact center. The service is free for buyers, delivery takes on average two days.

For the last several weeks we completely passed to online processes, the Group within the strategy of ONE RETAIL integrates all online and offline contact points with buyers. Our shops remain an integral part and the base of online sales of the company. At the same time we develop also other formats of customer interaction. The Russian Post is for us a long-term strategic partner. For example, Mail suggests not only to take away independently sending, but also to issue a courier delivery from department home. After end of the pilot partners will begin step-by-step scaling of the project – the Eldorado network will be connected, and in the future delivery can be implemented in 42,000 departments across all Russia. Inhabitants of several thousand small localities will receive the comfortable canal for purchase of the equipment without the need for distant trips.

Delivery in departments of Russian Post for May, 2020 is available to all categories of the equipment up to 20 kg and with packaging dimensions no more than 60 cm on the either party. To receive goods, it is enough to show the passport or to call a verification code from the application of Russian Post. The logistics and "the last mile" are implemented on the party of Mail. The orders collected in warehouses of Group get to the distribution center from where they are sent on the selected departments. Delivery to the majority of regions will take about 2-3 days.

Clients of M.Video and Eldorado can also receive orders in shops which partially work as issue points, and in 2500 partner PVZ of Pyaterochka supermarket chain in Moscow, the Moscow region, Nizhny Novgorod and Ekateginburg.
