The VizorLabs video analytics platform solution is a software and hardware complex with artificial intelligence for solving industrial problems, such as: automation and control of technological processes; accounting and quality control of products; personnel monitoring; industrial safety monitoring; flaw detection and telemetry.
VizorLabs technologies provide object detection accuracy from 95% in all angles, with a camera angle relative to the floor of up to 70 degrees, at a distance of up to 25 m, on a video stream with a resolution of 640 * 480 pixels. It is possible to simultaneously process the video stream from 1000 + cameras.
Video Analytics Platform-Based Products
As of December 2020, the following industry products have been implemented on the basis of the platform video analytics solution:
- VizorLabs Health & Safety - an automatic system for monitoring compliance with safety measures (TB) and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent industrial injuries.
- VizorLabs Anti-COVID is an automated system for monitoring compliance with the sanitary (mask) regime in public places (public transport, shops, markets and shopping centers, cafes, pharmacies, beauty salons, car services, sports clubs, cinemas, offices) based on smart video surveillance technology.

VizorLabs Video Analytics Platform Solution Composition
The platform solution of VizorLabs video analytics based on artificial intelligence is a cluster of jointly working neural networks developed to solve specific problems.
According to information for December 2020, the hardware and software complex consists of a computer vision system, a media server for image processing and storage, as well as user interface modules, a reporting and notification generation module, and a neural network training module.
The computer vision subsystem is a cascade of neural networks (detectors) for solving specific problems: motion detection, detection of people and objects, counting objects, determining the position of objects relative to each other, etc.
The combination of detectors in different configurations allows you to adapt the system to solve a wide range of computer vision tasks: process monitoring and quality control, industrial safety control and personnel management. In total, the VizorLabs video analytics platform solution library has more than 75 ready-to-use detectors specially designed for typical industrial processes.
The VizorLabs solution also distinguishes the functions of action recognition and independent intuitive additional training of neural networks by the customer, wide possibilities hardware software and integration with other systems.
The solution has software and hardware components and is implemented in both server and cloud versions, or SaaS versions.
Inclusion in the AI Russia Works AI case library
On November 23, 2020, VizorLabs announced that its development - a video safety analysis system - is included in the AI Russia Works AI case library created by the AI Russia Project Artificial Intelligence Development Alliance.
The system of video analysis of compliance with safety and industrial safety was developed by VizorLabs for the Rosenergoatom concern and implemented as part of a pilot project at the Kola NPP. The introduction of the system allowed to reduce the number of safety violations by 10 times: from 80 to 8 cases per week.
The decision is based on a neural network that checks images from cameras for wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and registers safety violations. The system detects 26 types of PPE in all angles from a distance of up to 25 m. The system fully automates safety control and replaces image control from cameras with a dispatcher.
The use of AI to monitor industrial safety at the Kola NPP demonstrates the capabilities of this technology at the junction of the analog and digital environment. Computer vision allows you to digitize operations performed by a person in any area where there is no way to capture data directly. We are very grateful to the creators of AI Russia for choosing our development for their project, − said Vasily Dolgov, CEO and co-founder of VizorLabs. |
In addition to monitoring the wearing of personal protective equipment, detectors are able to record the observance of a safe distance between people, presence in areas with restrictions and determine the temperature of a person's body.
