2024: Development of a reference programme for further vocational education in conjunction with HSE

The AI Alliance is developing a reference program for additional vocational education together with one of the leading universities - the Higher School of Economics. This was announced on August 20, 2024 by the First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Sberbank, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Alliance in the field of AI. 

Artificial intelligence is truly a transformational technology for any business, from banks telecommunication and companies to and. industries agriculture It is crucial not only to tell business leaders about this, but also to give them an understanding of how to properly implement AI in their activities and how to build a strategy for such an implementation. The program is being developed with the direct participation of the Scientific Council of the Alliance - recognized scientists and experts in the field of artificial intelligence, said Alexander Vedyakhin, First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Sberbank, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Alliance in the field of AI.

The goal of the program is to give top managers and business owners the knowledge to make an informed decision about the implementation of AI and design the implementation processes in the company. As part of the program, speakers from AI market leaders will talk about the capabilities of the technology, the effects of its implementation, strategy, emerging risks and how to create a team and infrastructure, what metrics to use to assess the effectiveness of the solutions used, how to form an order from external contractors and protect yourself from unscrupulous suppliers.

The first group of students will be able to study under the intensive program in the fall of 2024, then a full advanced training program will be launched, which is planned to be scaled up in all regions of Russia.

The Artificial Intelligence Code of Ethics (AI) Commission, which operates on the basis of the Alliance in the field of artificial intelligence, is creating a working group on the ethics of artificial intelligence in the medical field. Creation of a platform for interaction between business and universities

The Alliance in the Field of Artificial Intelligence on June 16, 2023 announced the creation of a platform for interaction between business and universities in order to introduce new approaches to education in the field of artificial intelligence and solve the problem of a shortage of specialized personnel. This was stated by First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank Alexander Vedyakhin. Sber is one of the founders of the Alliance in the field of AI.

As part of the first meeting at the Sberbank site, a discussion was held on the methodology and preliminary results of the rating of universities on the quality of training of specialists in the field of artificial intelligence, which forms the Alliance. The event was attended by rectors of leading universities, including MIPT, ITMO, MISIS, REU named after G.V. Plekhanov, FEFU, UGNTU, Innopolis, representatives of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia and Alliance companies.
