2022: General Director of the FinTech Association

The general meeting of members of the FinTech Association (AFL) decided to appoint Maxim Grigoriev as Director General of the AFL. Under his leadership, it is planned to reformat the AFL taking into account the new tasks and directions of fintech and the further digitalization of financial products and services. The AFL announced this on July 13, 2022.

Before Maxim Grigoriev, Tatyana Zharkova was the general director of the AFL, who was appointed to this position in February 2020[1].

The financial market countries for July 2022 is undergoing a transformation phase, facing serious challenges. In these conditions, market participants are in need of - the Russian IT products based, among other things, on innovative technologies. In this regard, we decided to reboot the AFL. A repository of Russian, as well as independent solutions for the financial sector and a technological sandbox will be created at the Association's site, where developers will be able to pilot new digital and IT products. In addition, the Association will work to develop technologies for open finance and, data distributed registries, digital financial assets, as well as other innovations to remove barriers to the creation of digital products and services, Maxim Bank of Russia Olga Skorobogatova Grigoriev, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the AFL, First Deputy Chairman, is an experienced professional with a wide range of competencies in the field of digital and financial technologies, and we are confident that he will cope with the ambitious tasks set for the Association.
