Agroprombank independently implemented Directum RX

2020: Directum RX implementation

In 3 months IT- specialists bank Agroprombank unrolled and adapted Directum RX for processes of the organization. Advantages of microservice architecture helped to provide fault tolerance of the solution at a high load. More than 800 employees work every day in a system, about 5000 documents appear in Directum RX monthly. On May 29, 2020 the company reported about it Directum.

Agroprombank Ltd — one of banks of the Dnestr Moldavian Republic. Private and corporate clients use financial services of the organization, more than 70% of the working citizens of the Republic get paid into accounts of Agroprombank.

The management of bank pays special attention to information technologies and constantly improves business processes. So, at the end of 2018 it was required to review interaction of divisions since other directions accustomed. The decision on system implementation of electronic document management and process management was made.

It was going to implement a system by forces of own IT specialists of Agroprombank. The project began with market research of software products, consultations with the acting customers of solutions were held.

In the final list of requirements there were several key points:

• the convenient mechanism of interaction of employees within business processes;
• readiness of a system for integration with internal software packages of bank, including the core banking system which is independent development;
• flexibility of the platform and sales opportunity of cluster infrastructure for risk reduction, connected with failures in work.

The Directum RX system completely met all requirements. According to specialists of bank, the solution has additional benefits over the competing developments: the first is a combination of modern technologies and long-term experience of vendor, the second — use "friendly" to bank of Microsoft.NET technologies for convenient independent development of a system.

Under the Directum RX system in Agromprombank the IT infrastructure divided into 4 clusters is unrolled: the database, server components, servers for balancing of loading and support services. Such architecture ensures smooth simultaneous operation more than 800 users at a high document flow.

In 3 months of independent project implementation a great job is done:

• the flow of internal documents from different sources is completely transferred to a digital form, and now employees of the bank interact in a system. Work with memos on paper is stopped. According to the order of the management of Agroprombank, any memo created out of Directum RX should be ignored.
• preparation and consideration of correspondence is conducted along the configured standard routes — to everyone responsible the document arrives in the necessary order and with strict observance of terms. The department of office-work digitizes the letters arriving on paper and then, as well as electronic documents, brings in a system.
• orders of the head form and go to execution as soon as possible. To one or several responsible the task with the determined final date of execution of works goes. The initiator can address correspondence on a task at any time and check whether accomplishment is begun.
• legally significant documents with the electronic signatures (ES) are unloaded from a system in several clicks, it is enough to employee to set parameters. Unloading of any documents, including those types which were developed by bank independently is available: invoices for payment, goods issue slips, requests for the credit and other.

The management of Agroprombank is positive for the first results of process automation: with Directum RX it was succeeded to introduce an order and strict discipline in internal interaction between departments, delivery dates and considerations of documents were reduced, paper document flow was considerably reduced.

For May, 2020 in a system more than 5000 documents and 3500 tasks, Directum RX already irreplaceable link in an IT environment of Agroprombank are monthly created. The project develops, ahead the next stages — integration into the core banking system for the continuity of processes from a system to a system, automation of business process under approval of credit requests.
