Readiness of ZH8 for PlayStation 5

The Sony company announced on July 29, 2020 that BRAVIA TVs from the current line officially "Are ready to PlayStation 5".

The line of TVs of Sony which "Are ready to PlayStation 5' includes models with complete direct illumination of Full Array LED1 , such, as 4K HDR TVs XH90 series and 8K HDR ZH8 series TVs. On XH90 the geyming is possible with with a resolution up to 4K with a frequency of 120 frames per second from low delay of an input signal - 7.2 ms3. ZH8 model allows to receive the detailed images with the resolution of 8K4 and also reproduce games with the resolution of 4K 120fps3 (specifications are supported depending on the game PS5). Both TVs will provide impressions from a game on PS5.

In models of TVs which "Are ready to PlayStation 5" it is also implemented the BRAVIA Game Mode mode allowing to reduce automatically level delays during the game on PS5. Thanks to BRAVIA Game Mode users can turn on at the same time the TV and PS5 using wireless the DualSense controller and also to manage PS5 using the panel TV.

Thanks to X1 processor family TVs of Sony provide the image with bright colors and good contrast. Start of sales of the Sony BRAVIA 8K-TV of ZH8 series

On June 8, 2020 it became known that the Sony company began sales 8K HDR of ZH8 series BRAVIA TV with complete direct illumination (Full Array LED).

The TV is the center of house entertainments for all family. Thanks to exact balancing of illumination in the necessary areas of the screen dark scenes become still nasyshchenny, and light – is brighter. The technology 8K X-tended Dynamic Range PRO increases contrast, increasing brightness of light sections and providing deeper shades black in the darkened scenes.

To be prepared for the output of consoles of the next generation, BRAVIA TVs of ZH8 series will support work in permission 8K with a frequency of 60 frames per second and also 120 fps for permission 4K and a fast response at connection to HDMI inputs for the maximum capacity and a geyming.

Due to support of the Netflix Calibrated Mode mode the ZH8 TV guarantees reliable image transfer in full accordance with author's intention. The independent control of amplifiers for exact positioning of a sound is provided in model that allows to improve the sound pressure and stability of sounding for achievement of a bigger realness.

Personal approach to viewing

In Sony BRAVIA TVs of ZH8 series the Ambient Optimization function (optimization depending on an environment) which allows to arrange the optimal mode of the image and a sound to any situation is implemented. This technology automatically changes image brightness according to lighting level for optimal viewing, increasing picture brightness in light premises and vice versa, muffling in the dark. Moreover, this technology allows to detect surrounding objects – the curtains or furniture reflecting or absorbing sound waves and to respectively calibrate acoustics settings to reach the correct sounding.

The line of ZH8 supports Android TV with preset by the voice assistant Google Assistant, Google Play Store and Chromecast that provides to users quick access to content, services and other devices on the platform Android. Besides, the user interface of Sony, including the menu and voice actuation was improved that made it even more convenient for daily use. Thanks to support of Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa users will have an opportunity of voice actuation of the TV for loading and video playback with YouTube using Google Home or for switching of channels and change of volume via devices based on Amazon Alexa. Support Apple of Airplay 2 will allow to start on the TV video, music, games and a photo from the iPhone, iPad or Mac.

Style and design

Thanks to minimalist design of One Slate and a thin frame ZH8 allows to plunge completely into entertainments, without distracting from viewing. The TV has two provisions of a support that allows to install the TV even on small surfaces. The TV is equipped with the remote control with illumination thanks to what users can enjoy comfortable viewing in premises with the muffled light.
