2021: Introduction of a key-free passage function in 10 thousand intercom phones at PIC facilities

On August 3, 2021, Rubetek, a Russian manufacturer of IoT solutions, announced the introduction of the pass function without using the key of 10 thousand intercom phones installed at the facilities of the PIK group.

During the year of the project, a total of 10,000 panels were connected to the video analytics system in 48 residential projects of PIK. 25% of users have already switched to using keyless access.

The order for the technological solution was formed by the PIK product department as part of the implementation of the keyless access program. The video analytics system, designed to increase the safety and comfort of residents, determines the personality at a distance of several meters and automatically opens the doors. The neural network not only quickly (on average in 1-2 seconds) identifies the identity of the resident, but also distinguishes the human face from the photo or video image on the smartphone screen or in printed form. Thus, the decision completely excludes access to the residential complex of outsiders.

It is assumed that all future PIC facilities will also be equipped with keyless access.

User data in the system is impersonal, encrypted and stored on secure internal servers. The system operates according to a hybrid scheme, that is, the doorphone panel takes a snapshot, translates it into short code and sends the file to the server. There, the image is checked by the neural network and, in case of positive identification, an opening signal is returned to the doorphone.

In addition to the keyless access service, Rubetek's doorphony functionality includes:

  • a call from a doorphone can be received on a smartphone,
  • calls to user devices in conference mode,
  • The IP doorphone works with analog tubes.

"The technology that makes life more comfortable is what Rubetek works for. The ability to upload your photo to a mobile application and forget about using the key is a way to feel changes in the way we live in the future, "said Anton Maltsev, founder of Rubetek.

2020: Equipping doorphones at PIC facilities with facial recognition

June 17, 2020 PIC Group announced the equipment of doorphones of its houses. facial recognition system She automatically recognizes the housing in a few meters and opens the door to the entrance without applying a key. The technology was developed together with the manufacturer IoT of solutions. Rubetek

Before opening the door, the system matches the original photo uploaded at registration with the face of the tenant. The neural network was trained to distinguish a living person from a photo or video image on a smartphone screen or in printed form. User data in the system is impersonal, encrypted and stored on secure internal servers. It is argued that the decision excludes access to the residential complex of outsiders.

The PIC Group reported that its homes had been equipped with facial recognition systems

With the new automatic door opening system, you can get into the entrance without using a phone or key - just look at the doorphone video camera.

The press service noted that similar systems for automatic facial recognition are already used in some small residential complexes, but for the first time such a solution will be implemented on this scale.

By June 17, 2020, a new solution was implemented in the houses of the Putlikovo and Rimsky-Korsakov 11 microdistricts. By the end of the year, PIK plans to establish keyless access in all projects in Moscow and the Moscow Region equipped with Rubetek digital domophony.

According to the founder of Rubetek Anton Maltsev, digitalization of housing construction and operation technologies is a key priority for the company.
