2010: Implementation of WSS Docs and WSS Portal

The company WSS-Consulting in 2010 implemented for JSC Third Generation Company of the Wholesale Electricity Market (OGK-3) electronic document management system (EDMS) and a corporate portal. EDMS on a basis WSS Docs also Microsoft SharePoint Server replaced 13 systems operating on OGK-3 earlier. The WSS-Portal corporate portal allowed to accelerate business processes in which employees from branches on all are involved Russia.

System solutions are developed by WSS-Consulting on the Microsoft SharePoint platform. Modules of new EDMS allow to store data on employees and structure of the company, to manage approval of agreements and organizational and administrative documents, to give and process requests in IT department and on economic services, to control execution of instructions. Besides, with EDMS based on WSS-Docs the staff of the company can work with documentation from different divisions, collect and consolidate reports, exchange instant messages. The new system solution is compatible to the Windows operating system and a packet of Microsoft Office which are usual for most of employees of OGK-3.

The products developed by WSS-Consulting on the Microsoft SharePoint Server platform became base for system solutions on OGK-3: in particular, system of office-work and document flow of WSS Docs and WSS Portal.

WSS Docs is the boxed system providing process automation of office-work and conducting electronic document management of the organization. WSS-Docs has powerful and flexible functionality, and system architecture allows to connect remote branches and divisions of the company to uniform EDMS.
