Hikvision DS - MDH - the Terminal series for ensuring sanitary security on transport

On June 29, 2020 the Hikvision company presented the complete mobile solution for temperature measurement on transport – the DS-MDH005-B terminal.

With gradual lifting of restrictions, caused by a pandemic of a koronavirusny infection, and return to a usual rhythm of life the number of passengers begins to grow in public transport. It sets for carriers a serious problem on security of both passengers, and drivers, employees of objects of transport infrastructure. For the solution of this question the Hikvision company developed an autonomous mobile complex for ensuring sanitary security on transport. The DS-MDH005-B terminal is developed especially for use in buses (city, corporate, school, etc.), trams, trolleybuses, the subway and other means of transport. Functions of fast and contactless measurement of surface temperature of a body and detection of existence or lack of a protective mask allow to provide the necessary security level of passengers in public transport and to prevent possible spread of a disease, claim in Hikvision.

According to the producer, the terminal uses the thermovision module for carrying out thermometry and also to analyst based on algorithms of deep learning which allow "find" a human face in a visibility range and take necessary measurements. Thanks to intellectual analytics the terminal will take temperature only of the person, ignoring other warm and hot objects in a frame. In case of identification of the facts of the increased temperature the disturbing signal will work, and it will be offered to passenger to undergo repeated testing in medical aid station. At detection of lack of a protective mask the disturbing notification with a reminder on need to use SIZ in public places will also work. The mobile complex works almost instantly that important for observance of the schedule of the movement. Measuring accuracy and detections of a mask is ±0.5 °C.

For informing and the notification of the driver about a situation in passenger salon the screen which is synchronized with the terminal is used. The driver will be able to see at once who is included into salon and also to quickly receive disturbing notifications in case of identification of the increased temperature or lack of a protective mask. On the screen statistics on a flow of passengers will also be displayed. If necessary statistical information can be unloaded in a report type which will contain landing time of each passenger, the image of the person of the passenger from the terminal given about results of temperature measurement, data on existence or lack of a mask. Information can be used as evidential base in case of conflict or disputable situations.

According to the statement of the producer, the terminal can transfer data on network (4G or Wi-Fi) or to write all events on the SD card – the device supports work with memory cards to 256 GB. Control of a mobile complex is exercised using the software of HikCentral Pro. All safety controls on transport, including the terminal, cameras of calculation of passengers, cameras of security monitoring are connected to the uniform mobile network video recorder.
