2020: Restart of service

At the beginning of July, 2020 in Moscow earned service of lease of the lite electroscooters. In the future it is going to be opened for partners.

Initially service was started in 2018 and YouDrive lite was called. He worked about a year and was closed "for the internal reasons". When Mail.ru Group  purchased  control in YouDrive, YouDrive lite and service of mobile filling of the machines Pump remained as separate companies with founders of the YouDrive car-sharing Boris Golikov, Andrey Kuprikov and Alexey Nurdinov. These entrepreneurs also restarted lite.

By the beginning of July, 2020 within lite 800 electric FitRide scooters are available. Before the trip it is necessary to scan the QR code of the scooter and to unblock Bluetooth lock. The cost of activation of the scooter is 50 rubles (unlock-fee), and minute of lease costs 5 rubles. It is possible to complete lease on the city cycle parkings mentioned in the application. They are located within the Garden Ring.

It is specified also that service is available to users 18 years are more senior. For registration it is necessary to specify the phone number in lite and to link the bank card for payment. The application is available to downloading in App Store and Google Play.^[1]

The company locates the park of scooters and works as the platform for lease of scooters of other partner services. During the season the total park is going to increase to 10 thousand electroscooters, promise in lite.^[2]

We see high potential in development of transport of the last mile. Now we restart service on a new business model: we are not limited own to scooters, and we attract partners. It will allow to create a large transport marketplace where users will be able always to find the vehicle within walking distance, and partners will be able to be connected to the platform only in the presence of scooters: without software, support and technical service — Boris Golikov said.
