2017: System development Krisaf
The Robots Can Dream company developed the Krisaf system which consists of the pneumatic cylinders equipped with electric drives and cups for support of each department of a body of the user (patient). The patient on a lodgment actually floats. Work on the project was conducted nearly two years.
Krisaf - it the device is similar to the exercise machine for the astronaut – a robotic complex where the person fixed by special tapes soars above the ground, operating in the virtual world created for it by the computer. The device helps seriously ill patients to children to learn to go, be recovered after the violations connected with motive function and the violations received owing to a stroke, spinal injuries because of cerebral palsy.
The special pneumatic system is counterbalanced with ten independent suspension. The exercise machine imitates a status of the person in water and allows to hold sessions of physiotherapy exercises. At the same time are interesting to the little patient of occupation – he is in the underwater world created by the computer where performs special tasks, for example, looks for and collects treasures.
Computer part is important. To motivate the child actively to participate in rehabilitation process can be difficult, and game approach allows to increase efficiency of occupations.
