2019: Registration of the patent for the multiscrew unmanned aerial vehicle of vertical take-off
On July 28, 2020 the University Innopolis reported that the team of experts of the Russian IT university registered the patent for the multiscrew unmanned aerial vehicle of vertical take-off in 2019.
According to the design engineer of Competence center of NTI in the "Component Technologies of Robotics and Mechatronics" direction, the UAV gathers under conditions of specific flight from separate modules with different technical characteristics. All modules are controlled the uniform central processor sending to them managing commands. He analyzes assembly and determines parameters and characteristics of the turned-out device. If the device is assembled incorrectly, the processor warns the user about an error, recommends replacement of modules and does not start flight. Such adaptive system allows to design both traditional UAVs, and UAVs with the individual scheme.
This development of Competence center of NTI in the "Component Technologies of Robotics and Mechatronics" direction based on the University Innopolis can be used for the goods delivery, mail correspondence and sendings and also transportation and raising of non-standard bulky goods when it is impossible to use the crane. Loading capacity and the sizes of such UAV are optimized to conditions of specific objectives in which it is going to use the UAV, emphasized Innopolis at the University.
"We optimize device parameters under a separate task. Thanks to it economy mode of use is reached. At the same time for specific purposes any user, regardless of existence of qualification of the developer or the engineer will be able to collect a configuration of the modular UAV of vertical take off and landing. For this purpose it is necessary to register accurate and clear instructions of assembly of the modular UAV, and the error of the user should not cause critical effects. For July, 2020 experimental samples of the modular UAV are at a prototyping stage", 'Moussa Galimov, the leading design engineer of Laboratory of autonomous vehicles of Competence center of NTI in the "Component Technologies of Robotics and Mechatronics" direction noted' |
According to the statement of the developer, for transportation of bulky goods it is possible to use the combined body of frame construction of the most different forms. To the body air screws are established. Assembly turns on also different sensors — weight, a relative positioning of axes of air screws, determination of provision of the device in air, etc.
