Addition of Exon.WBS construction structure management module

Exon has been added to the Exon construction automation cloud platform to manage the construction structure. Ability to compare estimates and track versionality in Exon.Activation.

Gaskar Group on October 24, 2023 presented the updated functionality of the "Acting" module. Users can now automatically match and transfer cumulative data from the first version of the contract estimate to the second. The proposed functionality allows you to compare estimates, automatically form and agree on an adjustment act, as well as track the version.

The estimate versionality tool allows you to correctly continue working with the new version of the estimate without complex calculations and large labor costs. Migrating data from previous releases helps you to draw up the correct adjustment report and calculate the exact cost of the work performed, taking into account the changes in the new release. In addition to automatically analyzing changes, it is possible to correlate work from different budget versions using the comparison tool. Sending the old estimate and certificate designer to the archive is aimed at saving data on previously performed works. Automate the formation of KS-2/KS-3 acts in the cloud construction management system

To receive payment for the work performed, the contractor must form a KS-2 certificate and a certificate of the cost of the work. KS-3 These are primary accounting documents that are necessary not only for receiving payment, but also for reflecting costs in accounting, accepting VAT for deduction. Planned scopes of work are transferred to the KS-2 certificate from the cost estimate structure, and the actual completed scopes are transferred from the data of Section 3 of the LWR and as-built documentation.

KS-2 formation is a time-consuming and complex process. Various specialists participate in it: surveyors introduce volumes and calculate the amounts of work performed, which, in turn, receive from construction control and PTD engineers. The data is entered manually into the edited file in xls format, and manual data counting and entry increases the likelihood of an error, which lengthens the approval and payment period.

Exon users carry out LCA and form as-built documentation in electronic form, and data on the actual work performed are automatically uploaded to the certificate designer. But without loading the estimate into the system, it is impossible to fully automate the formation of KS-2/KS-3. The structure of the contract estimate is not standardized, there are only methodological recommendations of the Ministry of Construction on the preparation of this document. Accordingly, the contract estimate can be drawn up in an arbitrary format, which makes it impossible to recognize it in the electronic document management system.

Exon developers have created a universal parser to download the contract estimate. Parser is a set of tools and instructions to standardize the estimate and prepare it for loading in machine-readable form to automate calculations. Thus, the KS-2 generation cycle is fully automated.

The solution allows you to automatically generate KS-2/KS-3 using information from different sources: contract estimates, section 3 of the Life Log and as-built documentation. This saves specialists time collecting and entering data, and reduces the possibility of errors in documents due to the human factor. Module "Activation" for automated generation of acts

Gaskar Group announced on August 25, 2022 that the Exon construction management system was replenished with the seventh functional module "Acting." This is another digital tool for automated act formation and manual work avoidance in Excel. It speeds up the verification process, and also eliminates errors in entering incorrect data on the amount of work performed by automatically loading data from as-built documentation.   

Automatic generation of CS by data from the "IT" module makes it possible to speed up the process of formation, verification, coordination and carry out storage closing documentation in a grouped form by reporting periods in a single space, told the head of the direction, Maria Larkina.

The primary functionality of the module was that users could download, negotiate and sign acts. In August 2022, the system allows you to form KS-2 and KS-3 based on the contract estimate and data from other modules. 

Exon.Activation is available: loading the contract estimate template in xls format, receiving volumes and certificates from the ITD module, entering the scope of work performed for the reporting period, sending the filled table to the customer for approval, for revision by the contractor, verification and approval. 

Piloting of the module has already been launched at the facilities of the Moscow Department of Construction. In the fall of 2022, its functionality will be expanded: it will be possible to sign the final KS-2 and KS-3 documents in the system in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Tax Service. 

Integration with CSoft solutions

Amethyst Capital, Gaskar Group and CSoft have formed a unified digital environment to manage the facility from design to smart operation. Gaskar announced this on June 6, 2022.

Module for automatic generation of as-built documentation for the facility under construction

On August 26, 2020, Gaskar Group announced the addition of an automatic as-built documentation (ID) module for the facility under construction to the Exon platform. The service is designed to help developers and their contractors reduce labor costs for the preparation of as-built documentation, quickly correct customer comments and quickly receive payment for their work.

The absence or lack of certificates and protocols for materials, contracts, acts of hidden and intermediate work is directly related to payment and threatens the contractor with a refusal to accept the work, a delay in payment to the team and fines. The customer, in turn, in the absence of an ID cannot check the scope and quality of the work performed at the facility, obtain permission to put the construction into operation, maintain the building or transfer the ID to the owners.

The presented Exon module for automating preparation and approval of as-built documentation analyzes the work of all process participants in the system, automatically checks and sends for approval the ID for all process participants. The module already contains templates for the main composition of acts and documents for the formation of as-built documentation.
