Biography

Vitaly Bedarev has bachelor's and master's degrees in Strategic Management from the Higher School of Economics.

He began his career at Strategy Partners Group, a consulting company, where he grew from an intern to a director. Then he held management positions in several technology startups in the field of medical technology and online tourism.

He served as general manager of Uber in Moscow.

In 2018, Vitaly joined Citymobil as Director of Operations.

As of August 2020, he served as executive director of Citymobil.

Taxi ordering service "Citymobil" on March 30, 2021 announced the appointment of Vitaly Bedarev to the post of general director. Over the past year, Vitaly has been appointed Acting General Director of the company.

In 2020, under the leadership of Vitaly Bedarev, Citymobil reached the next level, becoming a competitive player on a federal scale, service representatives noted. Despite the drop in demand as a result of the pandemic, the company showed threefold growth compared to the previous year in the number of trips, which reached 185 million, turnover increased 2.2 times year-on-year to 46 billion rubles. As of March 2021, the service operates in more than 70 cities of the Russian Federation.

As general director, Vitaly will be engaged in business development in Russia, first of all, in the implementation of the strategy of the multimodal platform of urban mobility and strengthening the position of Citymobil in the Russian market.

"Citymobil" gradually ceases to be just a taxi aggregator. We want to build the largest urban mobility platform in Russia, which will meet the needs for movement around the city of both private and corporate clients. Their needs are not limited to taxis, we can offer our users delivery services, corporate taxis and micromobility services.
