2020: Representation of a complex for monitoring of courts from space
The Ruselectronics holding of State Corporation Rostec and Fakel experimental design bureau developed a complex prototype on the basis of the nanoclass spacecraft for monitoring of the movement of sea and river crafts. The solution will be able to detect objects three times faster 60% more effectively than the existing analogs of domestic and foreign production. Rostec reported about it on August 10, 2020.
More effective work is reached due to special arrangement of receiving antenna elements and also a software package which makes cumulative processing of the accepted signals onboard the spacecraft. For permission of imposings (collisions) in onboard equipment the principle of FastICA (Fast Independent Component Analysis) allowing to separate signals from each specific station is implemented.
The used solutions based on low-orbit devices allow to detect no more than 20% of objects within 15 minutes of flight over the water area numbering more than 2000 courts. The provided complex will give the chance to find out up to 80% of courts during five-minute flight that it will positively affect safety of navigation, – the chief executive of Rostec Oleg Yevtushenko noted. |
Development of a software package as a part of Ruselectronics is conducted by Scientific Research Institute Vektor.
The experimental design bureau Torch is engaged in creation of the spacecraft. Existence of the miniature propulsion system allowing to adjust an orbit at accomplishment of formation flying, to increase the term of active functioning, to provide a spacecraft output from an orbit after completion of a mission will become one of advantages of a product.
