2020: Intermediate project deliverables of development of the domestic PLM platform

The LM Soft company provided on August 28, 2020 intermediate project deliverables of development of a domestic software platform on management of the lifecycle (L) of creation of difficult technical objects and systems. These works are carried out taking into account the purposes and tasks planned by the federal draft "Digital Technologies" of the national program "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation".

Vitaly Morozov, the head of the center of technologies of lifecycle of LM Soft, noted that the platform is designed to create unified information environment for joint work of customers, designers, producers and operators of difficult technical products within contracts ZhTs. It will allow to support instrumentally and methodologically design processes, the technology preparation of production (TPP) and setting on production of a hi-tech product and also to manage results throughout product lifecycle.

In the platform the main functionality of the systems of the class PLM and methods of the model focused system engineering (Model-Based Systems Engineering) are fully implemented. Its core is the module of management of engineering data (PDM) which is implemented based on a domestic system "Union PLM". Functionality of the PDM module covers management of electronic documents and data, collective work in the multisapr-environment, workflows and projects, electronic structures of a product and engineering NSI and also provides automation of technology preparation of production and preparation of operational documentation, including the interactive electronic technical guidances (IETG).

In addition to basic functionality of the PLM platform LM Soft develops three more subsystems: requirements managements, managements of model of the ZhTs program and layer management of readiness of technologies (TRL/MRL). These subsystems are intended for solving of tasks of primary activity of the enterprises of defense industry complex. So, the management subsystem is initially focused by requirements unlike the majority of similar solutions in the market on processes of creation of products, but not software developments. In turn, the management subsystem of ZhTs allows project managers, programs and the separate directions to create model of the ZhTs program of a product, uniform for all cooperation, and to exercise end-to-end control of it on the stage-gate model.

As Vitaly Morozov specified, for the end of August both modules are already almost complete, and the main works are conducted on creation of a management subsystem by the level of readiness of technologies. It is aimed at automation of information exchange between the project, production and scientific organizations during creation of products and technologies. The subsystem will allow to classify technologies and also to manage the statuses of level of their readiness and the connected information: CCI of a product, results of tests, design data and data of researches.

The project of development of the PLM platform of LM Soft is expected several years. Stages of pilot implementations and approbation on industrial enterprises are provided in it, and creation of the full-function instrument of support of processes of digital transformation of defense industry enterprises will become result.
