Education

Vasily Dolmatov graduated with honors from Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Physics.

Career

He worked at the Department of General Physics, Faculty of Physics, Lomonosov Moscow State University, at the Institution of the Russian Academy of Sciences "Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics named after V.A. Kotelnikov RAS," held the positions of Deputy Director of the Department of Infrastructure Projects and Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation.

Since 1998, Vasily Dolmatov has been actively involved in the development of the network Internet Russia in and in the world, was a member of the RU Coordination Group domain and a member of the Council "" since National Internet Domain Coordination Center its inception. V. Dolmatov was the chairman of the working group on the implementation of digital certificates (CA-TF) in the European Regional Internet Registry (RIPE) and is also the author of a number of Internet standards in the IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force, Engineering Council), Internet which make it possible to use Russian cryptographic algorithms on the Internet.

Since 2015, as part of a delegation RUSSIAN FEDERATION to the Standardization Sector International Telecommunication Union (ITU-T) in Research Commission No. 17 "Safety" (IC17). Awards

2020: Award of the Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" II degree

On August 31, 2020, Kryptonit NPK announced that his technology adviser to the research department Vasily Dolmatov was awarded the medal of the Order of Merit to the Fatherland, II degree. The award was awarded for the long-term work of V. Dolmatov in the development and formation of the Russian segment of the Internet in Russia and in the world, a great personal contribution for the development of standards and work in international organizations on the standardization of the Internet.

The award was held in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of 26.08.2020 No. 529 "On awarding state awards of the Russian Federation." V. Dolmatov was awarded the medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree, for his merits in the formation and development of the Russian segment of the Internet information and telecommunications network.
