As reported on the official portal of the government of the republic, the project in Innopolis is implemented by Rosenergoatom Concern, child structure of Rosatom, within the memorandum of cooperation with the government of Tatarstan and the program of development geodistributed and the DPC disaster-proof network.

According to plans, in DPC it will be possible to place up to 500-1000 racks of the IT equipment in the first stage with a possibility of the subsequent expansion to 2 thousand racks. The power selected for an object is 16 MW.

The cost of investments into construction and creation of engineering infrastructure of the first stage of DPC will be about 3 billion rubles, and some more billion rubles will be invested in the server hardware and deployment of virtual environment and commercial cloud of Rosatom.

Construction will begin in the 2nd quarter 2021 after accomplishment of a complex of design and exploration work. Commissioning of the first stage of DPC Innopolis is planned for the second half of 2022.

Tatarstan is geographically very successfully located. We have a DPC near Kalinin Nuclear Power Plant, we plan construction of several objects in Moscow and St. Petersburg. The Republic of Tatarstan is an object of digital culture therefore we will be present also at the republic — the director of the department of management and business development of DPC of Rosenergoatom Concern Sergey Nemchenkov explained [2] earlier [3].

After the project is rolled in Tatarstan, it is going to be replicated in Turkey, Uzbekistan and some other countries on platforms of building of nuclear power stations, Migalin explained[4].

The Atomdata-Innopolis company will be engaged in project implementation. Its request for obtaining status of the resident of Innopolis was approved by the supervisory board of the special economic zone on August 24, 2020, it is told on the portal of the government of Tatarstan. The company, apparently, is absolutely new: data on her in the USRLE as of the beginning of September are absent.

The largest data center of Tatarstan at the time of the beginning of design of an object of Rosatom in the republic is the data center of technopark IT park in Kazan. It occupies the space of 1000 sq.m. and has the reserve platform in Naberezhnye Chelny. Based on this DPC services of placement of the equipment, lease of virtual servers, communication hubs and a hosting web are offered.

According to base of legal persons " circuit.focus ", among the clients using virtual infrastructure of IT park - the Center of digital transformation of the Republic of Tatarstan using computing resources for the state needs of the region.
