2020: Announcement of the Taiber KAGU-150 unmanned helicopter
September 21, 2020 it became known about the creation in Russia of an unmanned helicopter for the delivery of heavy and oversized cargo in the Arctic. The system was developed by Tyber. The novelty was called Tyber KAGU-150.
During testing of an unmanned aerial vehicle at the Arctic East Messoyakhsky oil and gas condensate field in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (the northernmost continental oil field in the Russian Federation), he overcame a 130 km route and delivered 150 kg of cargo to the field. The device demonstrated high technical capabilities in the Arctic. The take-off mass of the drone is 500 kg, and the cruising speed is 160 km/h.
The second stage of testing in East Messoyakh is scheduled for December 2020: the developers of the air complex and oil workers intend to test the drone in the Arctic winter.
Monitoring and control UAV can be carried out from several ground stations, including remote ones, via satellite or commercial communication channels. The flights were carried out in the conditions of continuous exchange of information with the Center for the Organization of Movement of Unmanned Vehicles, developed by the company "" Diginavis- a resident of the special economic zone of Innopolis the republic. Each year, hundreds of thousands of tons of engineering and drilling equipment, construction materials, and resources for the life support of oil production centers are delivered to autonomous oil fields by land and air. It is noted that the use of unmanned aircraft opens up great opportunities for oil workers to quickly and safely deliver the necessary resources to the field, and also accelerates the process of introducing unmanned solutions into logistics processes.[1]
