The Infor company in Russia predicts 20% profit increase based on the next financial year which will come to the end in May. Infor says that it was succeeded to resist to crisis by it first of all at the expense of large orders. However market participants assume that this forecast can be overestimated.

According to the forecast published today by Infor company current financial year which lasts from May, 2009 to May, 2010 the company is expected sales growth of 20%. "Crisis reduces turnovers, the market comes to life in the majority segments", - the area manager of Infor in Russia and the CIS countries Dmitry Martynov commented on results.

Now the most demanded business solutions of vendor in local market are IEAM and WMS решеня, speak in the company. Among the biggest customers along with the companies of medium business – GAZ Group, Sibur, X5-Retail Group, the Joint Space Corporation. Besides, in Infor note active development in the market of warehouse logistics.

The company works at the Russian market generally through partners, among the largest – Frontstep CIS, GMCS, Corus Consulting, BDO Unicon and others. Next financial year of Infor she intends to save growth rates in 20%, including due to gain of direct presence in the market.

If the forecast is confirmed, then it will be possible to recognize that Infor was succeeded to achieve very noticeable success against the background of all market. Let's remind that in 2009 falling of the IT industry in Russia was 35-40% in connection with universal cost reduction for IT. So, most the key IT companies hardly managed to close 2009 over a year a gain, and business of some seriously "sank".

For comparison, growth of I-Teco in 2009 was 5%, Nvision Group – 2%. Verysell in 2009 earned for 20% less than 2008, R-Style – is 5% less, turnover of CROC decreased by 6.4%, revenues of IBS Group in 9 months of the 2009th financial year dropped by 29%. Revenue Sitronics was reduced twice. ASCON reported on a failure for 28%. Compulink reduced turnover by 2.3 (!) times.

Those players who managed to develop business made it the price of considerable efforts. For example, growth of Leta IT for 2009 was 14.2% in many respects at the expense of the new direction on personal data protection which was started in March, 2009 and gave 52% of profit. Even such giants as SAP CIS reported on 2009 with care. In the results of last year which are recently published by SAP it is told about a profit gain for 107% on projects in metallurgy, for 42.5% in power and housing and public utilities, but the general results do not reveal.

Market participants estimated the forecast of Infor ambiguously. "I think that for them these digits can quite be real. In the field of ERP Infor (that Baan that Syteline) are large expensive projects. In this option one successful agreement can bring also more than 20% of annual increment", - the chief expert Compass Igor Jacobson says. "The gain of our business in 2009 made only 4.4%, especially if to compare to the pre-crisis period when the annual gain of our turnovers made up to 60%. Our forecasts of growth of turnovers for 2010 not much more exceed results 2009 because if the country and recovers from crisis, then this exit is by no means not so prompt as some politicians try to provide", - at the same time he added.

The director of public relations of Lanit Konstantin Vasilyev characterized the forecast of Infor as "optimistic". According to him, the outlined recovery of business activity in the country goes reserved rates. "Even the annual gain of the IT market in Russia in 2010 according to IDC will make about 12% of the level of crisis 2009", - Vasilyev reminded. Besides, competition level in the sector of ERP systems where solutions for management of a warehouse and assets, i.e. the main products of Infor are implemented, is quite high, he reminds. "The forecast of Infor covers financial year, and relative indicators of growth which can differ considerably from absolute are usually given in similar forecasts" - the expert summarized.
