Jacobson Igor Grigoryevich
With honors graduated from the Leningrad Electrotechnical Institute of V.I. Ulyanov (Lenin).
Since 1978 professionally is engaged in programming at the Leningrad Radio-technical Institute (nowadays RIRV).
In 1989 defended the master's thesis in "Automated design engineering systems".
Since 1989 trains for a new profession on development of the business software. From the basis works in the St. Petersburg firm "KOMPAS" as the chief expert and is one of the main authors of the software packages of the same name.
Since 1995 is fond of journalism: writes articles about business software (including according to the theory of creation, choice and classification of corporate information systems) and about life of programmers. The cycle of articles "The Russian Programmers Work in the USA" in 1997 - 1998 becomes "hit" of the PCWeek/RE newspaper and Runet.
